It's not a 400Z. Not sure how everyone got to calling it that when the Z car has always, since the very beginning, been named after the displacement of the engine. Not the horsepower. So the current Z, if people want to make up a name for it, would be more accurate as a 300Z.400 Z
Doesn't mean it can't be added. From what I remember the Q50 is dead
Doesn't have to be BTCC. Super Touring was a global category.Feels like if you want ANYTHING remotely BTCC associated

Or ATCC.TCC wouldn't be out of the question though.
Isn't quite a lot of DTM seemingly exclusive to RaceRoom?Who owns the rights to DTM? PD used those three letters for the Weekly Challenge. We've only got one official DTM regulation car and one ITR represented car.
I don't know if it's exclusive, but RaceRoom certainly licence it. They have the following DTM car packs:Isn't quite a lot of DTM seemingly exclusive to RaceRoom?
Yes, January 2024 was this exact scenario (already known Genesis/Bulgari VGTs, so the only "unknown" silhouette was the kei Jimny).Different topic from the Super Touring one being discussed.
I can't remember, but what's the precedent for the silhouette teasers as regards to cars that have already been revealed?
Assuming that the January update is the standard 3 car addition, we already know 2 of them:
So would they make a 3-car silhouette teaser for essentially just 1 unknown car?
- Hyundai Ioniq 5N
- Gran Turismo F3500-A
Nope, different race series that raced to a different set of regulations. So, does that fall under their Super Touring licence?
I think it's notable that the two DTM cars in GT both avoid the years RaceRoom have content for.I don't know if it's exclusive, but RaceRoom certainly licence it. They have the following DTM car packs:

And sufficent German tracks to run them on:

And quite wonderful it all is as well.
From the description of the Crown Athlete G ‘13, it appears PD picked this model due to being updated from previous models. It’s a model we never had in the game and at least it has some performance. It’s funny the PD write up also mentions the Crown RS. That model is the one Saitama Toyopet Green Brave made the switch to when the Mark X they raced was discontinued. PD even dressed the Crown Athlete in a faux Green Brave livery and wheel set up like their Super Taikyu machine. The easiest way to get Super Tourers in GT7 would be to simply license the road cars, and then add the body kits as additional visual parts like they have done with many other cars so we could make our own.
This just leaves the question of, "does Polyphony think that road going Mondeos, Stratuses, V70s, etc. are worth adding?"
I personally don't see it as likely due to the fact that PD has mostly ignored the mid 90's outside of the big name Japanese tuner cars, and front wheel drive sedans as a whole are notably absent.
I think if a Super Touring eligible machine were to come to the game a Honda Accord would be a somewhat likely option, though PD has not given the Accord line any love so far in GT7. Something akin to a Chaser would also be a likely option, considering the cars popularity in the wider tuning/drift scene, though by then the JTCC's version of the Class 2 regulations had deviated a bit.
For my experience, no people around me ever like GT (yes, during the 2000s), as to them GT is boring and sluggish to play, arcade racers appeal them all more.I still play the first 4 GT games quite regularly on my old PS2, and even with a controller they're just so much more fun. Once you get over the downgrade in graphics, the actual gameplay - the most important aspect - all of them leave GT7 in the dust.
So would you think that the GT never had a good racing or AI was a lie?Even though you're only against 5 opponents, at least they're decently challenging,
I think pretty much this too for 7, finally the other aspects of the game has returned to the PS1/PS2 era, in the tuning parts, Licenses, non-main GT mode races (e.g. Missions), car equality (e.g. Wide Body/Custom Wing for most), etc., after they minimized it in GT5/GT6 (e.g. less tuning parts, 5 Licenses), but they haven't improved the single player part other than a potential in chili races or Sophy (with grid starts). In all fairness I will say 7 is a big step up from 5 & 6 in most aspects, but it still leaves far too much to be desired to shell out thousands for a higher end rig for.
Same looks, but not for performance. And some was featured as a Racing Modifcation for PS1 era GT, but there's below. The easiest way to get Super Tourers in GT7 would be to simply license the road cars, and then add the body kits as additional visual parts like they have done with many other cars so we could make our own.
Since PS3 era, smaller increase of cars from previous era. GT1 to GT2 was +510 cars (140 to 650) in 2 years. GT3 to GT4 was +540 cars in 3 years (181 to 721). GT5 to GT6 was only +172 cars (Premium only, 275 to 447). And GTS to GT7 (both early ver) was only +256 (168 to 424).From the description of the Crown Athlete G ‘13, it appears PD picked this model due to being updated from previous models. Many of us do agree that PD, for some reason, are skipping a popular era of four door sport sedans.
IIRC, the other games that had BMW's or Mercedes' DTM from that period scrub out any references to DTM. For instance, the BMW in Forza Motorsport 5, The Crew series, and Real Racing 3 uses a generic BMW Motorsport number plate (and refers to themselves as "M4 Racing":I think it's notable that the two DTM cars in GT both avoid the years RaceRoom have content for.
Means the AMG 190E Evo II might be a bit less likely because that's 1992 unfortunately.
Looks like championship races reward more DR vs daily races. Not sure what they are charging exactly. More Dr for finishing well in races?

So, what they were doing already?Oh joy, all the sweats will be infesting the WS races and doing their best Verstappen impressions to secure their precious DR points.
No, the GTWS races were slightly more civilised compared to the destruction derbies of the daily races. So, what they were doing already?
