Online "battles' for GT4

I was wondering how everyone is gunna do this online drifting stuff in GT4. Because if I wanna challenge someone, (Something like here on the boards) and I see them drifting, I'm not going to come here, challenge them, and wait for hours for them to accept. I say we need to figure out/ make a universal signal asking for a battle. (Like in TXR0 it was lights). I say we do a tap on the bumper or something. Anyone have any ideas, or suggestions on how this should work? Or we're going to even do it?

now one even knows the system on how this is going to be run, were going to have to wait for gt4 till we can figure this out...

True, but I was just thinking last night when I was dozing off, how sweet this is going to be..Its one of them things that everyone has an opinion on, but no one can deny its going to be awesome. I was/am just curious of how you guys think its going to be setup. Not a certain answer, just what you think. Its just overwhelming to me how cool this could be. I have no social life...

I sure hope so.

They will probably use some kind of buddy list, and we can all add each other to our lists to find out what game we are in.

Yeah. All I want, though, is to be able to use my Garage cars, my own setups, better, thicker smoke, and skid marks. After that, I'm set...Well Maybe I could use a few new cars, too.

I sure hope so...I didn't enjoy doing 100 some races to just get my car, then another 100 to get the parts..I'm not doing it again..( Maybe 100 is an exageration...Like 60).

I doubt that you can upload your GT3 cars into GT4. I'd rather work for them.

Yeah, God forbid you have to dirty your expert hands like the rest of us. It'll be good practice, to see if any of the physics have changed significantly.

Or what if you could upload your GT3 cars but when they got to GT4 they would be stock. I figured because parts and setting may differ on GT4.

Haha. And its a definate yes, GT4 will be broadband only. (At least in this point and time).

Nah, if 56K was allowed it'd be skippy. (No offense to you, though). With broadband it'll be smoother racing, and more enjoyable for others.

I was talking to a very well know friend who lives in Japan and he said his Signal Auto Sil80 was in GT4.
I asked Fumiaki if Chunky bai's car was in it as well for the US version and he said he didnt know. So I hope his car is in it cause that would be freakin awesome!

EDIT: Well I wouldnt call them connections I would just call it having very popular friends.
