Went online last night at about 12 and there was a grand total of 7 peeps online spread over 3 servers... C'mon what's that all about... The game has only been put 2 weeks and peeps have abandon ship.. 7 people spread across Europe is lame for such a great game... What's going on.

Personally, I don't feel the need to race this game online. The offline mode is more fun, and I can set it up to be as competitive as I want.....

And the IA won't knock you off the track like the real assclowns will..... :embarrassed:

+1, no need to

I stopped playing online because of all the people not behaving (doing all they can to hit you, driving the wrong way for long periods of time etc).

So I guess the Shift 2 "community" can blame themselves for loosing me ;)

think some of the bad driving has to do with the crazy handling if your not use to it.

Yes, I thought so too, so I stopped for 2 mins, noticed that the other guy also stopped. When I finally started driving again he waited until I "passed" - well I didn't, because he was aimed directly at me and launched as soon as I came around the corner... I repeated this experiment 3-5 times during the race - and every time he waited, and tried to ram me as I came around "his" corner.

I've seen bad driving in gt5 too - people bump into me, I bump into them, but waiting for two minutes in order to ram someone is not due to bad handling.

I had a similar experience in the next race, this time a different person, but the same behaviour.

But there is hope - you are secretly rewarded an "aggression vs perfection" stats that they never show you, so they will pair you with "like-minded" drivers once there are enough people online...

Really no surprise to hear that, online games are full of morons. Maybe when people get closer to finishing the game they will show up online.

Same thing that I see online. The game should "ghost" anyone that is obviously not racing. Like people not leaving the grid, or drive unusally slow or stopped or when they are skidding out of control. I think GT5 online was better in this respect. All the bashers and blockers seem to "ghost" at just the right time.

I rarely play online in any game...but 7 people online two weeks after the game is out is really sad. Forza 3 has been out over a year and still has a few hundred online most of the time.

Same here. It was fun for the first week or so, but now you can't do a race without getting rammed, sideswiped or punted. I have no interest whatsoever in it any more, and it looks like most other people don't either.

Some day in the distant future, perhaps developers will realize that if they don't do something about this, they may as well not include an online portion of racing games because nobody wants to use it.

i think this has been doscussed in another thread. General concensus is that people will play onlinemore after the game is patched

 the games frustrating and stressful, that's what. I can't imagine how many controllers have been broken in those 2 weeks. This actually made me laugh because I'm really not surprised such little amount of people play it.

I agree. I love the online stuff in NFS HP since it's just crash and dash anyway, but this.....almost pointless.

I was attempting to race the other night with one other dude. His MO.....crash into you at the start and take off. Then I noticed he was only hosting single lap races on a small track. What a friggin a**hat.
