My BP with the Ford GTLM, no air stream at all no bus stop cutting (i don´t know if good enough for "hawkeye" Spyrrari) 1:48.362.
My fastest race starting on 3rd position (i never ever start 1st) 9:08.778

Leaderboards updated :)

I hate to be a nagging old man, but even after I provided video evidence my '07 WRX time at Fuji 550 was not added.;) I'm not annoyed or anything, just wanted to point out my time should be added.:)

Sorry Paulie, I just missed it. I'll add it with the next update.

👍 Thankyou. Now I'm trying to hunt a good time in the Ford GT at Daytona 650. Hear it here first, there will be a tune coming for it at TLD.;)

finally got into the 1:46s! been so close for ages and then did two in consecutive laps with the fastest being a 1:46.7xx

still not happy with the setup on my gtr though, so hopefully i can go a bit quicker.

I have a question....are you guys running this laps on free run or online? I've noticed that even if you wait for everybody ok, online at least..then you do the first lap right...you start counting only on the second one...you still can do some stuff that in FREE RUN will give you a dirty lap....BUS STOP is a good example. I do all my laps on Free Frun. Anways...new personal best with my Evo9/Tuned 1.48.901 that was done in free run. I can probably cut more tenths but in turn 1 and bus stop...this car is being pushed to its limits!! :P

All my times are online racing at Fuji.

My listed laptimes are now wrong.
I did 1'53.320 in the '05 WRX
1'53.179 on the '07 WRX.

I made a 1:59:826 at Fuji with a Lexus IS-F. It's so heavy and you have to have a really light right foot.

Leaderboards updated. This will be my last update for a few days, as I'll be away for the holidays. When the new events start on the 24th (I think), please feel free to post your times for those events and I'll start the new leaderboards as soon as possible :)

Thanks Luxy for your effort, much appreciated.

I've been giving Fuji 550 a go for the last few days (good races with Atho and Rudi) and found a decent tune that I list below. Also I slightly improved the time I did for Daytona 650 a while back and have attached ghost for both laps in 1 file (extract to usb stick so its ps3/savedata/xxxx). I will share both tunes and let us see if someone can use them to make the better time :) I use a 270 degree wheel so you may want to change steering angle.

In GTR 07:
Fuji 550 1m52.242
Daytona 650: 1m46.141

Fuji 550 tune (shift gear before redline to keep power just over 6000rpm):
power -4
weight 104
ride: -20 / -20
spring 8 / 10
damper 10 / 10
toe -50 / 0
camber 2.4 / 2.5
brake 10 / 6
torque 45 / 55
turn 30
TC off
ABS 10
1st 3.354
2nd 2.146
3rd 1.595
4th 1.261
5th 1.018
6th 0.824
final 3.962

Daytona 650 tune:
power 11
weight 85
ride: -20 / -20
spring 6 / 10
damper 6 / 10
toe -50 / 0
camber 0.7 / 0.6
brake 10 / 9
torque 45 / 55
turn 35
TC off
ABS 9
1st 3.354
2nd 2.313
3rd 1.714
4th 1.295
5th 1.049
6th 0.877
final 3.576

thanks for posting the tunes i-plume and great times btw. your daytona setup looks quite similar to mine with the exception of the abs level. ive never changed it from 1 so i will see what difference it makes.

I found that upping the abs gave a smoother ride into T1, you are less likely to have the back step out over the bumps which ruins the braking.

Yay for settings :D Thanks much! The only 'trick' I accidentally found was the Torque split, it almost feels like cheating the way you can drift and accelerate out of the tight turns.....almost. I have a 1:47.6xx lap with drafting and a 1:47.9xx with no draft however I don't have a picture of the lap time, but I do have a picture of the race time of 9:04.910 if that will suffice, if not then no worries.

Yea, the F/R torque setting on the GT-R is a thing of wonder to me. The only way to get the thing to drift/powerslide out of the exit of a corner is with a 45/55 bias. The car seriously accelerates way quicker in this powerslide for some really odd reason, than if you were to just punch the gas in a straight line. To me it seems like a total flaw in the physics engine of the game. There's absolutely no reason as to why the car would accelerate quicker while the wheels are slipping, especially considering the fairly broad torque curve of the GT-R. Hopefully PD is listening...:dopey:

I interpret that as "times you can achieve in the online events". The best time is dictated by the track, PP, car and setup. When you have the same combination of those it doesn't really matter if there are cars five seconds in front or behind or if you're on your own on the track, now there's no RBE in Expert events the physics engine behaves exactly the same way.

My best clean lap times are in races, but only because I spend more time racing than I do testing, not because there is a fundamental difference between online racing and free-run. If you can do a 1:53.0 in free run, you can do a 1:53.0 in a race in clear air.

That's a good point but i find that if i am say in 3rd or 4th i push the car more trying to catch up hence a quicker lap time.
on fuji 550pp 1 53 024

What car?

Fuji 550 FWD

TLD Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Veloce
1'54.171 1'53.744

That was done on lap 5 of a race without slipstream, I don't know if there's more in it, more than likely but the lap did feel nice. I will keep ya'll updated.:D

Edit: Moments later in Free Run (note, done with slightly shorter gears than published "race" tune. Don't think the longer gears are much slower if at all anyway, yet to test fully hot lap speed.)

With this setting I had waaaaay too much grip and could happily have sacrificed some of that for more power. Max aero as well.

This is possibly one of the nicst cars to drive, but I'm sure there are faster times to be had with others.

All the best
