I guess I'll be back in the Integra at Fuji trying to break the 9.20 (provided it's still a 5 lapper) total race time. I only managed a 9.21 last time around.

I'm not going to make any tunes for these events.......at all. People can just modify my suspensions and gears to suit the new tracks (except some cars are still for these original events, like the FWD cars I have are mostly for Fuji still). This is disgraceful, with events like this you'd think GT5 was coming next week and this was just a ploy to keep people occupied for the next 7 days.

+1... I dont think Im going to be doing much tuning either for this... WHY o WHY do they do this to us?!?!

Still the old PD Round Robin happening here. We are back to the 3 basic events from 2 updates ago -

550PP FWD FujiF
550PP RWD Suz :D
600PP Daytona Road

The 650PP event has moved to HSR. :grumpy:

And the F430 with N1's is still there, now at Fuij F.

I'm only providing info on pro events, feel free to post about the other updates. 👍

Such a shame... :( nothing above 650... AGAIN.....

I am getting a little put off with these updates, because of the lack of high pp races. There are several cars in my garage that are just not been used because the pp settings are to low.

Like the 550pp RWD Suzi though.

Grim

👍

I suppose that counts as close racing at Suzuka. Didn't anyone race consistently at Fuji? BTW, I've noticed recently that draft seems to be twice as effective on Suzuka as opposed to Fuji.

It whas a close and fair fight between me and Rudi, not a school example of how close it can be and whas Paulie...👍

and don't forget that drafting with an underpowered car has more effect than with a heavy high powered one...:sly:

spyrrari.

Damn, :grumpy: Back in the NSX @ Suzy then, or maybe Evora Cup can move to Suzuka. 👍

Suits me.

Evora Cup Mk III can get straight underway. What a colossal disappointment.

Is there a 10-lapper by the way?

All the best

this gotta be some kind of sick joke. whoever is in control of the events over at pd should be severely injured in a car crash.

Copied and pasted from the GTPlanet news section:

Mitsuru Miura

Mitsuru-san is responsible for managing the online aspect of GT5 Prologue. He’s the one who actually posts those news updates that you see in the game’s menu, maintains the time trial rankings, and online racing events. He also works at a “lower level”, aiding the development of the actual network environment. He had no game development experience prior to joining Polyphony Digital, but it hasn’t been an issue.

Well I guess it's an issue now!

Well considering I was comparing the same car class from Fuji to Suzuka.....

On that note, I don't mind it too much, you need better drafting at Suzuka anyway, if there's going to be any form of RBE it should be drafting, one that's predictable and only a slight twist on reality.

Yeah, great racing Dan. You're so fast. We were trading fastest sector splits, but you were pulling away slightly. My best was 1'58.9xx by the way.

Hope to race you and others with the F430 in the future.👍

/\ See now I just don't understand this, you're such a fast driver but you still go with the fastest cars? Pick something nobody will expect and show some people up that way.;)

Not this old arguement again. People can drive what ever car they like, there is no right or wrong car. Plus i think Dan plays the game for enjoyment, not to show people up.

Since it came out.:P Evora, NSX and Clios have always been the fastest. Where's the XKs, Mazdas, Nissans etc etc? I think that's what's putting me off from offline, everyone still wants to use the fastest cars, including the fastest drivers. I'm just going to keep using the Mustang now.

That's why you are my favourite source of tunes Paulie :sly:

Yeah, I've been wanting a FWD pro event at Fuji, Suzuka was just to damn long

Although I'm sure I'll find somewhere fun to race, it's a disappointing update. The same, low PP events seem to be getting recycled and I am really looking for a higher PP race on Expert.

Where is the variety?

There is a lot I dont understand about you also myman, but I dont come here moaning about it. :sly:

Eiger North - compact cars
Fuji Speedway F - mid-size cars
Suzuka - sports cars (world event)
Daytona Speedway - supercars

Intermediate:

High Speed Ring - PP650
Suzuka - PP750
Daytona Speedway - Ferrari California (world event)
Fuji Speedway F - Audi TT vs BMW Z4 vs Ford Focus ST vs Lotus Elise - N1s

Expert:

Fuji Speedway F - PP550 - FWD
Suzuka - PP550 - RWD

As Obli/Gadbury said, there will be no problem to find where to have fun, but still, recycling events is not cool.

I really hope they have a surprise, regarding the 1st anniversary of GT5P ;)
