what happened to you in 24? i got punted twice :lol: , i missed 36 but colin21 might be in there?

well it looks like i made 36 in the end even though i didnt press start till xx36.35 haha because AMD87 was in there and Colin21. sorry AMD for that tiny nudge in the esses.

thats me done for now...might race later on.

I'm curious why it looks like there is a driver ditched at the chicane and also at spoon on all 3 laps as I can see what looks like drivers names that slowly disappear as you approach the sections and yet you are both 1 and 2 ???

I think that is the advisory speed to enter the turn, XX:00. 👍
 
Thanks Jerry for catching that on tape!!! ..I'm glad I could survive the 2nd lap braking to the 1st corner... it kind of was close... :lol:

I must say, a fine race with the Belgian LP_Racer (GTP) just moments ago. It was a run of Suzuka PP600. He was racing a R8 against my R35 GT-R. 2 whole laps of driving within a time interval of a second (swapping places), and not a single contact. In the end s/he went off in the 1st corner, but it was a thrill to that point! Thanks!

Yeah, I rember that race. I was really impressed by your speed in the GT-R. You're a fast driver. And clean aswell. After the second lap I thought I was slowing you down, so I braked a little early for turn one to let you go past, but then messed up aswell and went off. :ouch: But still, great race 👍

Hope I see you again on track. :)
 
I'm going in @ xx:12 ... it will be my 2nd ever race on this event ( the first was 5 mins ago and got punted twice and lost it under braking once ) not really confident at all but I will try not to hit anyone! ... unless it's some ass who thinks I'm there to be punted :dopey:

GTP_Mr_P - Sorry for that shunt in the exit of the chicane. I had a run on you and looked like you were understeering out of the chicane but as soon as I stuck my nose in your car gripped again and I hit your bumper. I pulled over but you never started again? Sorry about that. We had 2 laps of clean racing with not a touch. Sorry it ended like that. That scoob is a slippery car! All over the track!
 
Yeah it still needs a bit of tweaking ... just a quick throw on hit and hope set up, I knew I was holding you back whilst wrestling with it and the bump was nothing major ;) these things happen, great battle matey 👍

Thanks man. The R8 is better in the corners than the WRX, especially exiting, but it has nothing on the WRX in the straights (or any other car for that matter).

Nice racing with you!

mr_geez - You sure know how to make that GTR a wide car and hard to pass. Nice driving!

BTW. What's with fast racers, tagged or otherwise, using the fast AWD (WRX, R8,...) cars that can be tuned to pp600 (unlike say the Evo) under the pp600 for the advatage on the grid they get? Ok, I understand for RWD cars running at 597 or 598 to get a little leg up on AWD cars that have alot of advantage. But those driving the cars that don't need it, that also don't need it as drivers, is just poor sporting.

FYI - Speaking of which I had enough of the R8 for today and am switching to a RWD car for the next few races. Be gentle on me with your AWDs. I'll be running at pp600...
 
Benannt, normaly i start all time with full 600PP.
but today 8 racers i was all time 12th, no chance if there are great racers.
my best position was the 6. place, 5 sec behind the pole....

You and I were together 11th/12th 4 or 5 races today, due to this. You had the WRX so at least you could pass people on straights. In the R8, so far behind the leader, all I can hope for is to pass the Evos and punters...
 
RudiRaser, how are you finding the WRX compared to the EVO? i'm guessing your using the '05?

edit...i've been racing quite alot now with 599pp, i'm going to switch back to 600 now. Truth, Zabeu do it and quite a few others do, i'll give it a go now.
 
Another great race, I got swallowed up at one point by a whole load of GTRP members. Damn are they fast, and better than that very clean and fair racers. :)
