A few people have mentioned Truth123...has anyone had him respond to messages or accept a friend add? He's such a good racer but has ignored all my communication??? Perhaps he doesn't speak English (or he's avoiding me and is tired of me stalking him?!?)

Sent him an apology once ... no reaction.

It was fun racing against you too. Need more practice with the Ford before I can offer some real competicion! Its a beast to handle, one little mistake and off I go... :sly:

Later on I went into PP600 and had a couple of races with GTP_DONK and GTP_nd4holdenspd. Fun racing with you guys!

I thought it was weird you weren't getting past me, you seemed to have some good speed on the straights, it's just you lost quite a bit of ground at the braking zones..that was close though, what was it...0.2seconds at the end?

same here... :( ..we've had so many GREAT battles between us!! ..I think we have been 1&2 for about 15 times (under a sec between us) and we have never touched on track.. 👍 👍 👍 ..I will send him another invite in german, when I get the time to do it.. (..yes,I'm a bit lazy)

edit... just remembered... there have been a few clonks, but my cars paint still in perfect condition.

I wouldn't assume this means anything, I've had friend requests sitting, some for months, some had been retracted-I wasn't deliberately ignoring them, I rarely look there on the PS3 menu and forget they are there. I felt kind of bad about it, and I'll try to do a better job at responding to them.

All the online stuff is new to me.

Good NTSC racing with ProtoCell last night, that GT-R is rockin!

+1

I've started actually checking it now. Would be nice if something flashed up when you turn on the PS3 to tell you "you've got mail"

oldest trick in the book :sly:

Yes I could have passed you but this morning I chose not to. Besides I was being careful not to rearend you when braking. I have done a couple of those lately and it's quite embarassing... Before the finishing line I floored it and came quite close..:)

I knew you had a good exit, so I was being really careful but agressive at the same time with me throttle and had to squeeze you into the inside line a bit. And yeh no doubt you could've passed me, I'm still learning the braking zones of the tuned Viper, so I tend to brake earlier than a lot of people. That was fun 👍

I believe there is an option in your menu of the PS3 that warns you when a message is recieved.

It works at my machine, but don't ask me how.:)

Yup that's the fellow - yellow chevy. True gent. If you see him you're in for some good, clean racing.

bloody fast tho :nervous:

I hope he doesn´t mind this, but it's a 180 SX RPS13 Kouki,650hp.. :D (SUT-11)

..I guess, it really does spin those wheels( as it is what it means in Finnish)

That guy is a gentleman.👍 Had more speed than my vette going into 130R and choose to stay behind rather than force the issue inside. I let him by on the front straight. Really impressed.

Had a great time chasing wonderwiley yesterday, another fast, clean driver in an F430! We were in a race with another guy in an Evo from Great Britain, and when I inadvertantly caused wiley to go off track, myself AND the Brit both stopped to wait for him to get back on and resume his spot in first. I forget the name of the Brit, it was something similar to Swepdek, but that's not it. Fast, great drivers. I'd call it great racing but that would imply the result was in doubt.. wiley was decidedly the fastest. Had some good runs with ProtoCell, too, altho I really had difficulty staying on track because my 2 year old thought it'd be fun to play too!

badmuhfuggah, I haven't seen you on lately, hopefully we run into each other cause i have had some fun races against you in the past.

I hope to see you again soon too, angelx, we were very competitive, I really enjoyed running with you.

I see you just joined in. That's awesome. I hope you like over here! We had good races yesterday mate! :P

I've been around, more in the role of a lurker for about a month now.. I appreciated your heads up/invite all the same, tho.. I'm continually surprised and pleased by the general quality of racing I find with the majority of the membership here.

Again great race with Badmuhfuggah and some GTP fellow member just now at Suzuka! my God...this game is driving me insane! :P

i just had some brilliant races with Zabeu and GTNDC_Honeycar, all pulling sub 7 minute times all finishing with in 1 second once and 2 seconds on the other two races. Zabeu and Honeycar didn't touch me one which is astonishing considering how close they were to me. i held P1 till the last lap where Honeycar did me at 130r, i tried to get him back on the exit on the chicane going back to the start/finish line. Honeycar did a crafty one coming up to the line and slammed his brakes on at that last possible second giving me p1. 👍 i enjoyed them hugely.

if i had to give you one piece of advise, go and find these guys and race them. you will enjoy it immensely. trust me!

Finally made it to the big leagues today, and just had some great racing with GTP_Vanos2990, GTP_SimcoeAce, GTP_Sphinx, GTP_AngelX, and I'm sure others that I can't remember right now. Good, close (when I didn't make an egregious/stupid mistake), clean racing.

Especially enjoyed racing with you vanos. Definitely clean, fair stuff all evening.

Now I just need to stop having those "brain fade" moments, stay on the track, and begin to play with the settings.

Oh yeah, I'm a daddy, I just play a gangsta on the internet :dopey:

Thanks for the Father's Day wish, and a Happy Father's Day to all the proud papa's out there.

Had a few good races today with GTP_L8APEX I believe? Trying to outbrake an Elise with an S2000 didn't work to well for me today.

I just wanna say thanks to GTP_Sarlach. You understand the art of good solid racing and you're a sheer joy to race against. I hope you weren't smacking your head with disappointment when you saw me clowning around in the RX-7, but I was trying some wild setups (which obviously weren't working, hehe as you well saw!), so I sat my arse in something a little more competitive and I hope I gave you some good racing. Not very often I get to race side by side through the esses and Dunlop with a skilled driver and even less often do I get the chance to run through Casio side by side and start a horsepower race down the main straight. It's great fun when you can hear your competitor next to you but can't see them until someone gets a nose in front.

You are a king amongst princes, Sarlach, and I look forward to our next Suzuka meeting!

Cheerskis!

i just came on here to write up on our races but you beat me to it:) , i think that must be some of the best back to back races i have ever had in the time i've had GT5P. When you were in the RX7 i knew straight away that you had a bad setup, i knew you were a good racer before we met just from reading up on here. I tell you what you really made me try when you switched cars hehe it was so hard to keep up with you in the esses. When we were side by side from the Esses to Degner that was real racing, your the first person i have ever done that with and i thank you!👍 . you are right there at the top with my favourite racers Sonny. Thanks again!

i can't wait for the next race!

I just wanted to say that I love to race with my Ford Focus ST on the Beginner Susuka East course, I now can race with my Focus on a road course without having to worry about people wall riding/surfing just to catch up to me, people are now forced to use there skills to catch up to the leaders.

Suzuka 600pp - Protocell & Autocourse - great racing (I got to see most of it from about 5 seconds back of you!)

i just raced protocell and i gotta say he has a win at all costs mentality. He tried to take me out at the hairpin in Suzuka and at the chicane on the last lap.

Likewise brother. Best race I've ever had! Well I saw that you were braking a little too early so I went wide and I saw the light of opportunity! :P

So you're saying I shouldn't have enjoyed the races I just did? :)

Maybe I'm just easy to pass, and nobody felt the need to go aggressive on me.

Anyway, no worries, I had some good races, sorry you were less fortunate.
