Online Racing -> Apologies Here!

My excuse:
too much sex wil make youre eyes go fuzy ;P

Its great to know that ;)

I find [JP] drivers to be the most friendly on the racetrack, [FR] [ES] and [IT] are by far the worst i've found.

Theres always at least a few dirty drivers...
I agree on the countries that you say... but we all have our goodies and badies :dopey:

Lets see If I remember today Ive got into contact at HSR with 2 [GB] 2 [ES] and 1 [FR] I think... Wow seems quite alot...some may be unintentional...I hope...

Oh Im punishing wallriders so dont wallride haha.

No point generalising, as Fujiwara says, every country has there better and worse drivers in both skill and 'hygiene' (clean or dirty driving )

I gotta say that last night I had one of the worst driving nights online since I have started. I apologize to everyone that was racing against me regardless if you got hit by me or not. I was getting huge lag and when it started to clear up a bit I still got random jumps in delicate spots where Braking lines and turn lines intersect each other causing me to hit you guys. I know I follow extremely close in situations, normally I brake even earlier and contact is no issue.

to all involved.. i caused an ugly mess at casio in the 11:30 race. uh i was the wayward clio, and stuffed up maybe three drivers..:embarrassed: . i'm still learning the little box... sorry, 'scuse me.

i saw a few GTP'ers in the race i was just in sorry for holding you gyus up, IDK what was wrong with me. The car felt great in the pratice then both races i tryied it was carp went back to the pratice and it felt good again..? I was probably just pushing to hard with other cars on the track IDK but i just couldnt drive it for whatever reason.

I have been a bit sloppy of late and braking a bit late behind people, I do try and run a clean race!!

But what is it with some of these french drivers?? One particularly blocked me repeatedly despite me being much faster than him, then on the 2nd corner of the high speed ring decided to cheat by just driving full speed into the second corner, he got so far ahead the penalty he got didn't make any difference!

Yes you know who you are MrDFT.

Surely there should be a greater penalty for hitting the barriers at higher speeds?

There shouldn't be any penalties and ghosting like this at all imo it only causes more trouble ...
If any there should be drive thru penalties or time added after the race!! All this ghosting, lagging and on top of that penalties you get for driving fair is more than ridiculous 👎
I know 16bit games being more realistic ... lol you know where you explode when contact another car or wall :dopey:

I like the "time added" idea.

I like the "time added" idea.

Best idea ever!

They'd still have to sort out the 'who's the bad guy' factor. It'd suck if I got time added at the end cos some idiot kept crashing into the back of me :grumpy:

*edit* Second best idea ever, I just remembered 2 for 1 on packs of Grolsch 👍

Maybe a clock or some sort of timer could be placed on screen/ dash. Then the driver would have a reminder of what's to come when he/ she crosses the finish line. I believe when GT 5 does arrive, flags and stop and go penalty will be used. Who knows maybe we'll get a message from the race stewarts. "Pull over, you've been black flagged."

I apologize for entering a race with GTP_Gaston. This guy gives the good, clean racing GTP members a bad name. He couldn't stand getting passed cleanly by my lowly Honda, so he had to resort to bumping.

Way to go chief! Consider dropping off that "GTP" at the front of your screen name.

Yo, next time you quote me ( or someone else ) please use the ' quote ' button. Thanks. :)
Happy you like my idea though, kind of a intelligent collision judgement - penalty system should ve been there from start.
Or none at all- id give the cheaters what they deserve MY way:dunce:

Wow, I really lost it going into Casio too fast this weekend in a race with about 10 or more fellow GTPers. Sorry, I was trying the Viper for the first time on Suzuka. Can't remember who all was there but I was behind Tippaq and Vaxen and 2 others, ghosted right through them!

My bad. :dunce::dopey::dunce:

Was this a race at Fuji yesterday? I noticed he did like to barge a bit going into the first left hand hairpin. Thankfully that was the only time I saw GTP_Gaston race there. Maybe they realised the course was too tough for them?

Sorry H2OHYBRID_GT. I goofed my clicker.

The idea about "time added" originated from H2OHYBRID_GT.

I will now serve my time in the pits.

No, this was at Suzuka 700 Intermediate. Sent him a message and he replied that bumping was okay as long as the other car doesn't go off the track :dunce:

"No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin" :sly:

Newbie to the site but a long time GT racer!!!

I don't remember who it was but I'm Sorry for chasing down and slamming the guy that intentionally rammed me when I was making a clean pass.

I was going to come on here and apologize to GTP_Ren_Tec for bumping him into the gravel before going into the esses. This, despite the fact that the GT-R that we both outbraked and repassed into turn 1 actually bumped me into him. I typically try my best to give fellow elises as much room as possible. But...

...rather then suck it up and continue with the race, he illustrated how much class he has by finding my dot on the map, and then following it for an entire lap so he could ghost me for the final two laps. I sure hope that was worth it ren, I suppose you accomplished your mission since I got on the gas a little to early coming out of casino and dropped to P4 on the final lap 👍.

Nice, that was the first time any driver decided I was was worth ghosting, so I suppose I should be flattered that a mature GTPer decided to do it:rolleyes:.

This thread has really taken a turn for the worse... :yuck:

Guys: the idea of this thread is for the poster to apologize to someone they've accidentally nudged in an online race. If your post doesn't fit the bill, don't post here.

I guess i should say sorry to you, i was a little mad at being punted again (stress this point) and almost every race. But you lost a lot less than i did being booted off track where i was, i got back on track last and just gave up hope there and then. Why bother carrying on???

Sorry chap and i will try to keep my anger under control. ps how about slowing down as a sign of respect?

For some reason I always continue even in the most dire circumstances. Typically the RBE allows me to make at least a few positions back, and sometimes it can be fun just to see how fast the time gap drops when I am flying around the track 30-40 seconds behind the leader! But I'm probably strange like that.

No problem, the fact that you came on here and rather then get super defensive, just apologized completely makes up for what happened:tup:. And I would typically slow down and wait for someone I accidentally punted (and it did cross my mind when I saw you rocket into the sand trap), but like I said, that Nissan hit me into you so I quickly rationalized not to stop...:)

Although, I suppose I owe you a thank you for being in front of me. Or else I would have been the one launched off track!:sly:
