Online Racing -> Apologies Here!

Quick tip in future regarding drifting, if you are planning to drift during a race pull over at the start to let everyone past and then drift on your merry way đź‘Ť You'll find a note about drifting in online races here.

That way, there'll be no need to apologise in future :)
 
sorry to people i bumped into today at suz. its difficult to place the car and not hitting anyone. the vision to the sides is lacking, and its too hectic for me to use the look to the sides buttons. and if you have to break not to punt another driver in front its very easy to get hit from behind. looks as if we all have the same challenge until the field streches a bit. also i had a few incidents where i chose a bad spot to wait for another driver. sorry.

Suzuka Turn 1, just bumped an unknown black car (Evo? Skyline?), don't think it was a GTP member, but not sure. :guilty:

I really wish PD would eliminate, or at least moderate the crazy over-reaction to collisions. I'm not sure I see what the purpose is of it - as far as I can see it just makes the racing worse & leads to ricochet collisions. Maybe they just enjoy screwing with us...

So sorry to all (especially the one who messaged me calling me a dirty driver). I'm not dirty. But I'm trying to win like everybody else and sometimes I make contact.

I was one of those you hit. My guess was that it wasn't on purpose, as you hit me when I had to slow up because of traffic in front of me (I was 3rd, you were 4th in this particular line at Denger).

The best thing you can do here is to look more than one car ahead. In a pack like that, expect trouble. The car in front of you slowing up probably isn't a good passing opportunity, as there's just trouble waiting on the other side.

I'm a little surprised that a D2G driver would be slumming in the Intermediate races with all of us noobs. :boggled:

Which has nothing to do with hitting you or anybody else. I just get really :dunce: when I'm in a pack of cars.
 
In the 00:17 race at Suzuka, out of spoon on the uphill to 130r someone in a white viper or corvette came accross the track and put me in the wall to the right. I'm going to hope it was lag because it was a GTP_tag driver and if it was intentional it was way out of line. Anyway, that caused all sorts of chaos and people seemed to be pushing the issue all the way into 130r. I went outside and managed to get out of the corner without issue oddly but noticed a bunch of chaos behind me.

If someone thinks it was somehow my fault...sorry, but I had my hands full being put into the wall right out of spoon.
 
Sorry to anyone I offended online racing last night on Suzuka and HSR, my driving was sloppy and unsportsmenlike. I recently turned 21, and for any of you GTPers who are under 21; drinking and driving is a bad idea and I don't recommend it! But in all seriousness, I am sorry for entering online competition not fully able to compete. I don't believe I saw any GTP tags, but still that doesn't really matter since I normally drive as clean as possible regardless of who is watching. Better than the real world though I guess? Anyway, I ramble, once again sorry to all, and it should never happen again.

Think I was in there somewhere. I recall another GTPer and I were side by side heading into 130r and you came barging through in a GT40 and took us both out? I was on the outside and seemed to bare the brunt of your rampage?

Apologies if this isn't the incident you are referring to, maybe that was the race before.

ime always mostly in a white corvette and don't think there is anyone else that drives a white one from GTP. I was racing at the same time as you but can not call of any incident with anyone at all. If I do hit someone Ille wait and then head into the pits as it's race over for me then. I havnt done that for a very long time aswell.

Knilch or Max took me out on Lap3 there, nice one guys.

Max over-defending on Lap4 when I re-caught him into T1...Dude, if someone has pulled alongside you into T1, there's no way you can leave 1/3 of a cars width on the inside for them.

A repeat of this move by me on T1 on Lap5 and this time I kept my car on the circuit (not all 4 wheels on the inside of the grass in avoidance) and you turned into me. Then as I was side by side, you turned in again.

I was 1.5 sec behind you as a leader when that happened, i've seen you went off but i didn't know you and Knich had a contact ; there's no need to thank me for it :)

I believe i went off the track a bit and trying to keep my Vette' steady. Please accept my apologies for i had no intention of blocking you nor i do practice an over-defensive driving style like it might seemed. But please do take into consideration that i would not be needing to overdefend my position in S'curves while driving a R3'R3 vette with you as following me in a your GT-R :sly: most likely the other way around.

As for lap 5 T1 , did you really not felt (controller/wheel) vibration when you punted me into the sand with your 4WD tank. Trust me you don't want to touch a vette's behind while he's pulling out of a corner ; yes i was ahead of you by at least half a car lenght and i found that a bit over the top to be honest.

It seems like we haven't raced together enough or you would have a different opinion of me. I can only hope i'll be able to change that ; see you on the track:tup:

no problem because of the hit. but i stopped not because of that, it was again very laggy for me. i´m not sure, maybe it´s only by me, i have in the moment a bad connection. :ouch:

I think it might be host dependant aswell Rudi , was meaning to ask you, if you notice any lag while i'm hosting?? because it happens alot that i get to host and i see you on the same race grid.
 
id like to say sorry, but im not quite sure who it concerns. didnt catch the name. in the tightest curve at degner i saw the hood of a car that was ghosted to the inside of the turn, on his way back in, i decided to run my line, as he was ghosted, but still i got him in the side of my car. just wanted to say sorry. not intentional. lol
 
Suzuka 750PP tonight.

To Flash48, Kush, and any other GTP racers who saw me....I was all over the place. Kush, thanks for holding up on lap 4. Once I got out of synch I could never recover in that race. Otherwise, I'd have given a better showing. And, I misjudged your braking point going into turn 1 on lap 5 and booted you pretty squarely.

Sorry to anyone who's seen me be a tad rough with a couple of GTLMsquad drivers today... after being put in the grass/sand by Thanos twice and Knicht(?) several times I got fed up and started playing rough back.

I realised there was some room, just not enough when i braked as my car understeered, great side-by-side through turn one though.

No problem. It's always a lottery in T1 - people need to realise that they may have to brake earlier in the first turn L1, to avoid getting into the guys ahead. Trouble is, when you do that you usually get boosted from behind for your trouble. I'm sure that's what happened to you.
I've given up for now - maybe back on later hoping for fewer punters.
LOL - in 4 races I reckon I've been in every bunker on the course. :banghead:
 
Phew.. sorry for anyone who got offended by my phenomenally bad driving at Fuji.. i was in a Black GT-R and still haven't gotten used to the handling after the update.. and I just got the game today..

GTP_Civic-R, shame on you for denting my GT-R and causing me to lose my position. Shame on you indeed.
