I would advise you S30T, to not ask why this thread was closed. As the reasons are quite obvious.

As a mod, I’m probably not supposed to do this, but:

I think you should know something. The contents of your brain, as they've spilled out here, are embarassing. The sad irony is that you're too dumb to realize that you're stupid.
👍

This thread is unbelievably ridiculous, stupid, oh and, did I mention ridiculous? Let’s sum up your arguments here:

Part I: I have more money than all of you; thus, I have more cars than all of you; thus, I’m better than all of you.

Part II: Brits have fewer cars than I do; thus, all British people suck.

Astounding logic. You should write a book about inductive reasoning, so that you can make more money to buy even more cars and increase your superiority even further.

Note to all Brits: We apologize for the random gibberish that has emanated from this wayward child’s mouth. His words are his own, and are not representative of the opinions of other Americans on this board, although most of us do think that your food is vile and that you speak funny. But oh ho, I’m just generalizing!

This thread is done. It’s so done that if you took it out of the oven and tried to eat it, it’d be as chewy as a good filet mignon isn’t.

All right. Rick, if you want to show off your cars, you can do this in the show a picture of your car thread over in the automotive forums somewhere.

I sometimes smell like ketchup and it makes me sneeze.
Now this is a common problem. And you shouldn't feel ashamed of it. In fact, coming to us with this problem was the right thing to do. You hear? What you need to do is roll yourself (or have somebody help you) into some carpet. And then jump off a bridge and die.

I shouldn't take advantage of my ability to post in closed threads, but I'm going to in this case.

The hell of it is that aside from the gaping flaws in presentation, despite the immature attitude, despite the inability to logically back up his arguments, the original poster's fundamental point was correct. All those things just prevented most of you UKers from seeing it; you responded well to the many easy targets he presented but missed the true direction of what he was trying to say.

This forum IS full of UK boys and teenagers who worship the leather seat that Jeremy Clarkson's ass occupies, who regurgitate Clarkson's opinions as if they were Gospel Truth, and who DON'T have enough firsthand experience to understand or analyze Clarkson's opinions and recognize them for what they are.

I don't have anything against Jeremy Clarkson himself; I find him intelligent and funny. It's the legions of sycophantic followers that are the problem, since they lack the intelligence and wit of their hero and simply resort to parroting what he says as if it were Holy Writ.

This problem is not unique to the UK. The JDM Japanamaniacs are precisely the same way. So are the stereotypical American car lovers, though they are a smaller population on this board. But with Top Gear being a British show and Clarkson being an outspoken, opinionated man, it is predominantly young male UK members who fit this highly annoying profile.

I agree with the point - inexperience is not a good position from which to form an opinion. The funny part was where he did exactly that, in an effort to prove it.
