How to do a Grading Session?


Stewards will have “dedicated Grading rooms” opened at specific days during the week and weekends. Post when you feel ready on the forum to request a grading session to be organized.

What do I do when I’m inside a Grading room?


First and foremost, practice beforehand! Once you enter in an Official Grading Room, you are expected to run your session right away. Stewards will not wait around to watch you practice.

Once inside, Identify yourself. When the session starts, no chatting! Stewards will use the chatbox to type commands & procedures. Don’t speak unless spoken to!

What is the procedure?


The procedure will vary depending on how many drivers are inside a Grading Room. Full description of the procedure is listed step by step just below:


Group/Mass Grading Procedure:

This process will consist of a maximum of 8 people. 4 Drivers paired with 4 Observers.

• • A max of 4 drivers will enter the track.
  • 1 Observer (spectator) for each driver. Observer MUST use Exterior View to observe.
  • Observers will validate laps cleanliness & record lap times.
  • Everyone in the room must understand “Track Contact Rules”
  • Race laps will be set to 6.
  • 1 out-lap (warm up lap), 4 flying laps, and 1 cool-down lap.
  • Best 3 flying laps will be totaled
  • First, make sure to turn on your track map
  • Once on the track, the race will be started
  • Maintain chat box silence at all times!
  • Once the countdown hits ZERO, do not move!
  • Driver up front will starts his out-lap
  • Wait 20 seconds - 2nd driver on grid will start his out-lap
  • Process repeats until all drivers have started
  • Abide by “Track Contact Rules” at all times!
  • Once you finish the 5th lap, slow down to cruising speeds.
  • The 6th lap is the cooldown lap and is there to give observers an extra time to make sure they have written down all lap times. Everyone save your replay!
  • Once finished, whole process will be repeated until all drivers inside the room have run the Grading Session
  • Once the session is over, you can leave the room.
  • All times will be submitted to and collected on a related website interface. Final results will be public once all registered drivers will have made their session before the deadline.
