ORA SPECIAL ANNOUNCMENT
As you all may know, today (at least in the US still) is March 3rd, and we are glad to announce the 1 year anniversary of the GT World Championship series, the series that kick-started everything for us!
Many of you probably don't know how it all started, but it was within my first month of joining GTPlanet. Of course there is only one way a series can start off, a very professional message to now Co-Founder Charlie A; Hey I don't know if you want to do this but it's completely up to you. I was wondering if you wanted to start a gt3 series with races in Saturdays.
Charlie was very excited about such an idea and I went off to create a draft thread!
Time went by and the first ever thread was created!

Some of you might know who those two are too! Yup, racefan88 and pyrates now GTWC Racer and Staff Alumni! They have retired for awhile due to increased work load but some day we might see them come back on track!
In fact, most of our staff came from season 1, Litchi Brutaka SSJGZWarrior RodeRuner1967 and Charlie A and they are still here with us today!
Litchi (we like to call him Will L) really stepped it up for us, with his graphics skills and good knowledge of google docs he created us a platform to create all sorts of things on. Such as the still fresh looking S1 leaderboard!
(I don't know why it says #N/A for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd but there used to be mini trophies there. Guess you'll have to ask Will L about that
)Season 1 went by smoothly and we started to immediately work on Season 2.
With the staff working very hard, we came to a conclusion to have two lobbies and an entire grading system for it, all much more complicated and large than simple season 1
.Along with this we needed rules adjustments, specs adjustments and much more, oh trust me the Season 2 convo thread was very big

.)At least half of this was preparation and ideas for this season than the rest was discussion throughout the season.
The popularity of Season 2 was huge and we were very excited about that, I think the popularity is also in part of Will L's beautiful thread designing and organization.
(How can you not like that!?)
Well Season 2 was another smooth season and was the first season with race recordings! This was only possible with Ameer67's generosity and the time he put into it!

)Here we gained new staff members/alumni, including Leoni Dias joetruckv8 and aboe say hi!
Just to show Season 2's popularity it was at the top of the charts for most liked first post and overall views!
(We are hoping Season 3 beats that, so know is a good time to like the first post of S3!)
Sadly, like anything else, an end came to Season 2 with aboe taking the PRO Crown and SK8RBOI taking the AM Crown!
But around this time Will L had created something very special and it was a big surprise to everyone. He had created ORA, Online Racing Association, without anyone's help and set everything up.

So from then on, we had the mindset to not just grow GTWC, but also ORA as a whole.

)Now came along the season we are in right now, that's right, Season 3! Oh, but you thought the Season 2 Steward convo was big? Check this out, P.S we are halfway through the season.

(We have been pretty inactive on them but we promise to change! Hey, a PR person to manage them could be good
)But how could we mention all of this but some of our most important staff! That's right, the broadcaster and commentators, welcome brntguy TeamCZRRacing and OriginalCheezIt! They are the people that make it so exciting for people in the series and people who cannot race with us watch it!
Moving on though, I think some stats would be cool!

It's awesome to be part of this series and be recognized as one of the long time followers. It has been a great experience as the old timer here lol. I know I don't do a lot, but thank you for allowing me to be a part of the ORA. There are many more that have been here since the beginning and I would like to thank them all. I also thank you all for the awesome friend ship that the internet has given us all who love to race cars no matter what.
As our break has come to a conclusion, we all look forward to racing at the upcoming two tracks Monza & Bathurst. These tracks are very awesome tracks to race at. I wont be at either one because I have to work which sucks because they are favorites of mine. Hope all do great at Monza.
To my team mate yuc, kick some tail and I'll try to make up some team points when I come back in 3 weeks hopefully.

Yeah TORA is one of the biggest Forza Motorsport racing leagues. Back when Forza Motorsport 4 was more active, they had a GT3 series which was broadcast on Motors TV. They're also officially recognised in the UK by the MSA as a motorsport organisation.

Congratulations on ORA's progress. I hope I can help keep it going a step further every season. This has been one of the best racing organizations I have been with in my Gran Turismo "career." Keep it going guys.
