it also happened to me lately until i followed a couple of suggestions by a gtplanet member which seem to work for me, i'll have more confirmation by the next enduro race whether indeed they addressed the root cause. they are as the following:
1- delete and add your friend who hosts the lounge.
2- use wired connection to your router, i.e. get a network cable to connect your ps3 to your router.

also it is good to keep clearing the system cashe in gt5

The registered drivers list has undergone a slight change, there are now boxes for Kart, Race and Enduro. If you are registered for events and do not attend then you will see these change colour. This will affect your overall membership box colour;

By monitoring the attendance this way, we can remove unreliable drivers quickly and offer the space to another driver who wishes to race.

Admin team - please report any non attendances via PM to me and I will update the list as required.

ORDL TV has more replays uploaded for the Lexus ISF RM Championship and I have found the missing replay file thanks to Itzza. More videos will be coming soon!

Congrats Teckle, shame I couldnt make this season of the Karts but Il be there for the next one. Sounds like I missed a lot of good racing, Il be posting the replays from S2 after the weekend.

Im away for the weekend so unfortunately will not be able to attend this Sundays GTC SC race.

Itz, can you please host this round and all drivers please remember to attend.

The drivers league table is providing a great guide for who is performing on track. The points are a running total and will not be reset after an event.
Teckle is running away at the top but more importantly, the top 20 drivers will potentially be eligible for the Champions Cup.

More details about the Champions Cup are coming shortly, however, only 8 places are up for grabs so try and get a move up the ladder.

Tomorrow 12th May.

Hi all drivers. Tomorrow it's raceday round 6. As usual i will open my lounge at 17:45 UK time, and the qualify will start 1 hour later, at 18:45 UK time. The race will start at 19:00
I recommend people to join as early as they can tomorrow in my lounge. To avoid any connection problems. See you all tomorrow hopefully. I will send more info on PSN, about race tomorrow.

40 laps is good:tup:

I think it will be much better to keep Laguna for tonight as most guys would have been testing on Laguna in the last few days and their cars setup for it.

It is now only a few hours before the race start, a little too late to inform everyone any changes to the event in time, some guys may only log on 10 to 15 min before the race and would be a surprise for them to race at Cape Ring and not Laguna.

Best to inform everyone tonight about the re-race and give a set date in advance.

After a review of the PM's i have decided to do as people wants.

Cape-ring will be re-raced at the end of race schedule/calendar.
So tonight we are racing Laguna Seca. Just as the calendar says on HP.

See you all in my lounge tonight. I will open it as usual 17:45 UK time, for a 1 hour warmup session. After that we have the 15 min. Qualify.

Ed, something went very wrong yesterday. i'll tell you what it is in points but i can't tell what caused it or how i can prove it because it will seem like i was talking about a totally different race!

* I'm the one who got the pole position , my time was 1:18:8xx , as i remember it was well over a second gap to the 2nd place m1racing.

* i got back to the lounge then entered to the pits to race but i found my self at the back of the pack with only 6 cars on the grid! , i couldn't see the number of cars displayed in your upper images.

* i was the quickest car on track setting fast laps one after another and quickly reached m1racing but mysteriously the car just didn't have the power to overtake him even though i was faster than him.

* after the first pit stop, Doctorpotford poped up like from nowhere and he was 6th on my 6 cars list and i was second and again i'm faster but whenever i get close my car's power becomes very low and not enough to over take him and by that time i thought he should give me a way because i was overlapping him according to my list

* before I left i set the fastest lap in the race which was 1:19:078 as i remember

i reached a point where i said that's enough , something is not right, i could not continue like that, so i left.

guys, it may sound like i'm talking about a dream but did anyone experience anything similar?

ED is not correct to finish the quali in 5 place and go from 10 .I was disconect when quali time stop.in break time and i lose all .you give me 1 lap to quali in 1 lap tires do not heat il Laguna Seca.

it sound really wierd, but to be honest ive heard some wierd stuff about the online gaming in GT5. it was always about someone "weak" connection, but i couldnt imagine how frustrating is it... especially when someone one of the fastest guy...

about me, iam a lucky one (but not enough fast anyway.. ) with connection, it was only one lagging, with Narcis, i the quali i hit him back, sorry about that..

Roberte im sorry you feel that way. the best thing i can do is trying to improve this issue. To my knowledge you didnt say anything. You could have said to me that you needed 5min qual, or 10min. But it's hard for me to do anything when no one says anything. And when you wright something, you wright in a language i cant understand. Obviously my 100/100mbit internet is'nt enough for ppl to race. Atm. im ready to throw in the towel. So meni people is constantly complaining. My own race got distroyed by Hunedoreanul, when he wrote under the race. And demanded an answer. So i should be pissed too or.? I dont say i cant understand you, i truly do. But tell me what you want me to do about it.?

I see Acelce. I cant tell you what it is that's causing it. But i have try'ed it once in the Monza race i couldnt see anyone other than Itzza. But i have no solution for it.

Roberte, unfair you saying that. Ed kindly gave you another chance to qualify after you dc'd. It was during the 5 minute break after qualifying when everyone should have been in lounge. He could have just started the race after you re-joined but didnt. He tried to help you. Not his fault you dc'd.

We had a similar thing in the Lexus event with best times not being recorded and starting toward the back of the grid. Found its best just to pull up or go in pits and wait for race countdown to be initiated.

From what I have seen in the last few months, if you go back to the lounge during Q and change car or setup you will 99% (one can not be 100% with GT5) lose your Q time, if you just go to lounge and back, it is possible to lose your Q time too, but not always. That is just from my personal experience.

I have just watched the replay from your race view. When you caught M1 both your cars tyres were almost gone,so you had grip issues.
Also you made some mistakes which lost you time. I checked the lap times and some you were slower than DR P and M1.

I think a few other drivers may not be too happy either.
L4 last corner you bumped into narcis and pushed him wide so you could pass him,you also did this on L16 in turn 1 to him.
You made a similar move on L16 with el rossi on the left before the corkscrew. You run him off the track so you can pass.

Then after a few more unforced errors,you crash again on lap 27 and rage quit.
I have to say i'm glad i usually race with the latter half of the field as they are on the whole very clean drivers.
