Hi guys , sorry to say i dont think the 500+BHP RWD stuff is going to work for me so please remove me from the Corvette cup,
10seconds a lap tonight was embarassing after 3 hours practice this afternoon, my best was over 6 seconds off pole, but I cant achieve even that consistantly anyway.
The switch from 300+BHP FWD touring cars in rFactor is not happening, my old feet are just too heavy for the finesse thats needed to control these beasts.

Not a problem Starion, Itz will remove you from the event as requested. Im sure some of our other events will suit you better and I hope you dont decide that you feel that you cannot race with us.
More updates have taken place in the history section tonight including a revised version of the enduro event run by Ed, all race results for this event have now been collated and produced.

yesterday before the race, i was joking with m1, that we'll need a supercomputer to calculate the pit strategy for the races, i should have not laughed 
first race all good, driving second after doc, and then at the last lap my tire gave in meaning that i couldnt go faster than 20 kph or i would wildly spin out in to a ball of fire. Second race, everything good with tires this time, calculated stops perfectly, again second on the track before m1, 4 laps remaining i noticed i have fuel for another lap just, what i thought was enough fuel wasn't, had to stop again and fight for 4 place near the finish. Anyway great great fun this was for me, looking forward to the championship

Well we have finally hit our first 1000th post in our new thread! Im sure if we had kept all our other threads we would be well past this small milestone by now!

Hi all this cracking weather in the UK has meant GT has taken a back seat for a while,I need to do some test laps in the mini so if anyone wants to join tomorrow around 8pm you`re welcome. My room is like Dubai ATM so i`m expecting some hard races tonight good luck all.

You would have finished 2nd if you have another half lap of tyres on race 1, and you may have won the 2nd race if you had enough fuel. Sauber was also doing very well until his pit stop and the strategy didn't work out for him.
Pit strategy, tyres and fuel all come into play in the Pro Series.

It was a little quiet tonight due to members either leaving the ORDL or due to schedules, we are still looking for new members to join us.
Japanese Super Cup - 2 dates in September to be re-arranged due to the Pro Series being on a Sunday. Notice will be posted on thread and calendar updated. There may be a couple of spaces opening up so if you wish to join then please post to register interest.
Corvette Knockout Cup - same here, spaces to be filled. This will be a great one nighter amd a fantastic chance to get DLT points on the board.

Second of the pre-season event on this Sunday 21st July 7:15pm, everyone welcome to try it out even if you are not able to join the main event on Sep, have a go!
However, all drivers who like to take part in this event must complete one of the three pre-season events (on the 14th July, 21st July and 1st Sep) without causing incident and must finish both races within the 180s time limit. Speed is not important to join this event, but you must be able to keep your car under control at all times, so that we can all enjoy long clean battles without too much worry. No one like to spend hours testing and planning for the event and got bump off the track on the first lap.
Details of the event as following:
1) Date & Time & Place:
m1racing Lobby open at 7:15pm UK time (GMT+1) 21st July for warm up, start on 8pm for 10min qualify, should finish at around 10:00pm, please try to be early.
If you are not a friend already, you need to send a FR to m1racing.
2) Track:
Daytona Road
Qualify = 10min Tire wear/fuel consumption high
Short Race 1 = 11 laps - GT500 Tire wear/fuel consumption high
Long Race 2 = 28 laps - GT500 Tire wear/fuel consumption high, reverse grid
3) Cars:
GT500 (Japanese Touring cars)
Max Power = 572BHP to 582BHP
Min Weight = 1120KG
GT500 cars on this list only, use and change any car any time as you like, no need to use the same car on both races.
