Hi everyone,

Due to the low numbers that have signed up to the Golden Age Special, we have decided to postpone the event until September. We will post when we have decided on a date and for members to reconfirm interest in the event.

We have close to 30 members in the ORDL and some have not posted for a while or registered for an event. Attendance and reliability are both holding back what we can do, its really not fair on others and gutting for the admin when drivers dont show up.

If there is something that we are doing that is not right then please tell us, we run the league for you guys to enjoy.

We put a lot of work into bringing these events and maintaining the thread/website. We spend hours setting up pages, event templates, results etc. Hell, its caused arguments for me at home! Itz has kindly forked out for the website for the initial period and we have launched the shop to try and cover the costs incurred.

Spatt, Ed, King, Blazergolf and others have either signed up and not attended or have been silent for quite a while. We would love to see everyone get involved so we have a fight on our hands for places in events. Maybe this will change when GT6 is launched?

Id like to thank our regular members who turn up and sign up for pretty much every event, Teckle, Rossy, Narcis, Doc, Mos, M1 and Gray to name a few. It is appreciated and its a privilege to race with you guys.

We have some talented drivers in the ORDL and we can all learn from them and enjoy the racing.

Im sorry for the rant guys, the past few weeks I have been busting my **** trying to get us a sponsor for prizes and trying to get some trophies sorted for each event. I thought some trophies would be a nice touch for the event winners so I will keep trying to source some funding.

I really want the ORDL to become a real success, Im really passionate about it and its come a long way since February.

Personally I'd like to thank Evo and all the admin for all they do to run this league. I try to enter as many races as I can to make all the hard work they do worthwhile, for me and for them. Who knows, maybe one day I might win a race!!
This kind of racing is great in my opinion. I'm 50 next year! So I can remember the first racing games in the arcades and on consoles. It's come a long way believe me! Evo sold me his old rig and it's amazing, like having my own arcade machine in my spare bedroom!
So thanks to them for all they do and let's all support it as much as we can. I'll be buying a mug and calendar and probably a tee shirt.
So let's make this a success because that's what it deserves.

Don't worry Gray, I will not try to lure your teammate away from you. I will just have to do as well as possible and if Itz becomes my teammate I am sure we will put up a great fight, in the championship, or at least have at huge amount of fun.

Well I am still very new to ORDL, and as I have mentioned in previous posts, I think there is a very high level of professionalism in the way things are here, from the site, to twitter etc etc. I really do see the full potential this has to offer.

I would encourage all members to use the onsite forum as to grow the ORDL community there, this is what we have in SA and its very popular (although racing is very quiet at the moment) We even have inter team challenges within the league. Very cool. The list goes on.

Here it will be possible to attend small short fun races, practice race lines, work on tunes, and the ORDL team can do some practice with their Lexus. Also it will be possible for new members to complete the registration, by participating in this event. I am looking forward to have some fun with you guys, and maybe even welcome some new members in to this fantastic league.

Forgot to mention, an order is to be placed for mugs, t-shirts and prints. If there are any item you wish to buy then please post with your requirements and order via the shop. There may be a slight delay on delivery for the first order as our supplier feels that a bulk order would suit them better and may enhance our chance of obtaining sponsorship with them.
