Hey everyone, just to let you know I have removed the ORDL website. I have done this due to having some time constraints. If a member of the ORDL would like to take on running a website for the league please let me know. I am spending a lot of time updating the image files for the event, drivers list etc and then having to upload and embed them every time there is a change such as a new member joining. I wish we could insert tables into a post to make it a hell of a lot easier. I will be looking for 2 people to run the Beginner and Advanced Series for when they open too.
Anyway enough moaning, Itzza- has joined us and will be away for the first round of the Intemediate event giving him chance to recruit a team mate. Remember we are looking for new members so please PM me to join.

I would like to welcome nealcropper as the new ORDL senior manager. Please see the OP for information on the League management team. We currently have 3 positions to fill within the management team, please PM iif you are interested.
Neal will be running the Advanced Series once the league has expanded. The rule section has been updated regarding race incidents and how to report an incident.

The ORDL is undergoing some changes, the Intermediate Series will be soon known as the Road Series.
Regulations for the Road Series will remain in place, Neal and Itz are currently planning some new Series that will replace the Beginner and Advanced and open the league up to more drivers who wish to race in varying classes of cars.
Itz is also kindly working on a website for the League. I would like to thank them for taking these tasks on board and I hope as a result the League will grow and become more popular with races on GT5.
With an imminent announcement regarding a PS4, I will also be looking for any information regarding GT6 and how the League can be run on the title when it is released.

As you may be aware the ORDL is restructuring and will be offering 4 Series;

Now we are also looking to include karts in the super series making it the most diverse series we have. Would anyone be interested in having karting added to our Series, I believe it is a fundamental of learning to race and enjoyable to participate in.

Funny you should mention Karts... I was thinking about this last night. I bet they could be a lot of fun and personally think they'd be a great addition to the series.
I dunno about other peoples availability or willingness but it'd be real fun to have a kart room one evening for the lols?

Karts will be added to the Series, it makes sense. The ORDL are trying to bring all aspects of racing under one roof so it will be featured in the Super Series.
We have a position vacant for Super Series Manager at the moment and I believe Spatt has agreed to be the ORDL multimedia guru . The OP will be updated to reflect these changes.
Can I just say that this thread is for all our general chat so if it is not relevant in the Series threads to please post here. This is for off topic, Race Event suggestions etc

@spatt, we could do with some random pictures at various tracks in various cars, let me know when your free and we will put together a practice session. The pics are for the website, take a look at your fine work that is already up. You have also been added to the Senior Management Team as Multimedia Manager.

After speaking to Ash over at GamePOD, he has let me know that they are getting some more GTX frames in soon.
The GTX frames are not usually available to buy but are used solely at dealerships and events. Me and PhilT were very lucky to find matching VXR frames when we wanted a new rig and Im sure he will vouch for the build quality.
These frames will be BMW GTX versions and I imagine they will sell quickly.
I suggest if you are interested to email Ash direct at md@gamepod.co.uk
