I had a look and the time conversions may be tough for me since i'm in the us, but i'll definetly run when i can.

Steam name- Jerseyoutlaw
Iracing name- Keith Horner Jr.
racing number 8 if available.

Actually Sundays and mondays would be the only days that work being it would be 3 o'clock my time.

Details updated, no problem mate.

As some may notice, the thread has been tidied up a bit since the move back from the Enjin site. This has been due due to potential expansion here at GTP and wanting to keep everything in one place.

We are now getting closer to the start of the practice sessions for the first iRacing event, please confirm details if you wish to participate in this event.

Ok guys I have bit of news;

As you may have noticed in the forum, there is currently a closed discussion going on regarding racing league platform development that I have been invited to attend by Jordan, GTP Owner.

As part of the discussion, Jordan has given the ok for the ORL to trial something in the new year and for me to feedback information. No concrete dates have been set for anything yet and I will of course provide more details when the time is right.

The most important thing at this stage is ensuring that we have a group of 8-10 regular, reliable members to enable this trial to be completed successfully and it would be nice if we could fill these slots for both iRacing and Assetto Corsa.

Sorry to be vague at this time, Jordan is keen to not raise the expectations of GTP members but I am sure he will release more information when the time is right.
 
Looking for 8 minimum to make this worthwhile on either platform. If we can get more sign ups before the first iRacing practice session then great. If not I will be looking to ditch iRacing and concentrate purely on AC for now.
 
Have you tried on other forums like racedepartment.com or the AC/iracing websites? GTP is great but I don't think it has a big pc racing community

I cant believe we cant even get a group of 8-10 on AC, as a newish title that only recently released RC. Il have a think about if its worth going ahead, last time out on GT the admin team put in a lot of work for little reward.

I hope we can sort something out and get racing!
 
just to let you know that I'm interested in the AC racing, but not the other one. I'll give you details in the next couple of days when everything is set up and working on a new system. But I am keen to (cleanly) race other real humans.

GTP isn't big on most PC sims, it's mainly a GT site in that regard.

What I am doing is going back to the beginning with a series design that will be available to view shortly, I will be posting over at RD and a few other forums but linking directly back to GTP where possible.

Disregard all event information for now and I will clean up the thread.

Ok so I have started on the update with a new rule set and drivers list, all documentation can now be found in post 2. Event planning underway and I will be trying to catch interest across the web.

Current members please read the new guidance and ensure details are correct on the drivers list.
 
Hi TheORDL

Very interested in taking part in the AC series, but I have one question...

Due to the start of events on week days I won't be able to attend them, however I can race any time during the weekend. Is it possible that I can be a reserve driver if there is a space at a weekend meeting? Or even a regular driver at just weekends?

I completely understand if this is not permitted, I'm just trying my luck...this looks like a great league!

Interest was lacking bud so decided to just go ajead with iRacing. Close to 50 members now and first event well underway. Good, close racing so far and we could do with a few more regulars to fill the grid.

I will check you guys out I think. I gave iRacing a spin a couple months ago but couldn't find a league to run in and running random races was boring. Looks like a good competitive field too:tup:👍
