Who are the fastest healers in-game? Since my aim isn't all that great, I figured that instead of maining McCree or Bastion (

) I should be a support like Mercy. During the few QP rounds I've been in, I was picking Mercy constantly since every other character I tried ended up in me getting dropped instantly. If I'm trying to go for DPS and get killed before encountering the majority of the enemy team, I might as well actually try to help my team and provide health.
One thing that's abundantly clear about Mercy is her staff takes a few seconds to bring a teammate's health back to 100%. With Ana, her rifle can be fired rapidly, but her play style requires you have sharp reflexes and superior aiming skills; two things I seriously lack. What character(s) and strategies would you guys recommend for someone like me?
Ana is currently the best healer in the game by a huge margin. Coupled with her Biotic Grenade, it takes her 3 seconds to heal a criticallly injured D.Va back to full health; it takes Mercy 7 more seconds to do the same thing. Hell, Ana is about to be nerfed (50% decrease on healing, Biotic Grenade lasts for 4 seconds instead of 5) and she's still the best healer in the game. Hell, I'd argue that's she's one of the best heroes in the game. She's able to shut down a large amount of ults, and can 1v1 a large amount of the Heroes in the game. Like you said though, success with her relies on quick reflexes. Fail to shut down a Nano Boosted Soldier ultimate from the other team, with no D.Va on your team to block it? You'll die. Fail to shut down a McCree ult? You might die. Fail to shut down a Pharah ult?
you probably won't die tbh she'd get shot out of the sky first
Your aiming doesn't have to be too good, though; the hitboxes she's given when shooting at teammates are pretty large; it's hard to miss.
Even though Mercy is theoretically the second best healer in the game (with one of the best ultimates in the game), she's in need of the most work. If she's caught out in a bad place, it's incredibly difficult for her to get away (as she relies on teammates for her mobility options), and near impossible for her to 1v1.
I'd say that Lucio is the easiest healer to get to grips with, but higher level play revolves on swapping Speed Boost and Healing Boost frequently, using Sound Barriers appropriately, and most importantly, remembering when to Amp it Up at the right time. You could potentially use a heal boost at a bad time (i.e everyone already has full health), and while you're in the middle of the battlefield, a D.Va could throw a Self Destruct in your direction; a speed boost could've been a life or death thing.
Similarly, you could try using Zenyatta. He doesn't heal as much as the other supports, but you also don't need to be next to the person you're healing 24/7 for them to actually be healed (you do need to keep them in line of sight, however.) He's also incredibly good at 1v1 situations, due to his Discord Orb (there have been times where I've got the drop on a Zen as D.Va, been too far away to do any real damage, and I've been melted by him in less than 4 seconds). Also, it feels good to negate most ultimates with his own ultimate (i.e Zarya uses a Graviton Surge to trap the team, Ana nanoboosts a Genji, who then uses Dragonblade. It won't work against your team, and their team has just wasted 3 ultimates with no picks.)
HOWEVER
Zen's ultimate does not make everyone in his radius invulnerable to attack. You can still die to heavy amounts of burst damage (Pulse Bomb, RIP-Tire, Self Destuct), and if an Ana on the opposing team has her Biotic Grenade off cooldown, she can throw one directly at the people in Zen's radius, meaning they they cannot be healed (making them succeptable to being killed).
