Paint feature for the Custom Rear Wings for the next update

Nice feature though, so far GT6 has seen the inclusion of more custom bodywork options, more extreme ride height adjustment, visibly upgraded brakes, paintable calipers, custom wings, custom gauges, number stickers and now paintable wings. It'll be interesting to see just how many customization options have been added by the time GT7 arrives.

Except its not a "Double decker" wing. Its a wing mounted on the Ducktail Spoiler, just like the Porsche 993 GT2

Oh yeah! that would be really nice, especially if we can paint the endplate and the wing seperately. That'd be really nice, and also paint the mirrors would be awesome.

You forgot exhaust customization and carbon and racing hood.

Hang on, they've spent over a week reporting on the Tokyo Auto Salon and this is as much as they could come up with with regards to customisation? It's nice enough, I guess, but there is still some way to go with customisation options.

They've effectively had to go through every wing and check that painting it puts paint only where it should be.

With time, they can extend that to other parts. I'm waiting for the ability to paint individual body panels, and maybe change their material.

Add extra race mod options and a livery editor (in GT7) and we're on the way.

The stripes on the Mazdas are interesting; I hope they're working on bringing that for all cars, with customisation. That's part of the work required for a livery editor, too.

Other relatively simple customization options they could implement:

• Paintable custom aero parts
• Paintable carbon hood

Shouldn't be much harder than to make the wings paintable.

Yes, more features for those who still play the game are welcome. They have been slowly adding more features that once implemented everybody seems to use, like painting calipers and adding racing numbers. Some gripped how it was not enough for them but many are still enjoying the added features.

I want the banners and licence plates too if they are ever going to make it in. I can understand why PD may be skeptical in announcing these added features before they are ready or giving deadlines tho as if they had announced the banners and plates yet they for some reason are having issues with the implementation there would be threads complaining about missing deadlines of missing features on top of all the complaints about features only promised in future updates that are technically not even late if they just announced them as future features then would just get added to the list.


These surprise new features every so often are welcome by me and just goes to show PD have not forgotten about GT6
