Back to the original topic...
i bought a bue Ferrari California, simply because i liked the Tan interior. I painted it Midnight Purple II and suddenly i was stuck with a boring black interior.
So i painted it back to the standard blue and guess what? still the same boring black! I was So annoyed that i wasted a good colour and 260,00 that i "rage" sold the car and never looked back

@Chro, You are the one who need to grow up, and understand what people write in their posts, all this kind of stuff is clearly meant to be trashy/funny/hilarious whatever you want to call it, like it or not this is not what developers allowed you to do at the moment , it's not me. If you can't create the helly kitty car you should complain with them, but it would sound like a stupid complaining in my humble opinion Luckly you can always buy FM3 and create it there.

Ok but that is a long way from they didn't include the editor because people would abuse it or make designs you dislike.

Of course they are not asking ME what the have to do lol, ask your self why they didn't included yet. GT4 comes out 6 years ago during nfs underground sieries, there was no editor. GT5 in 2010 no editor again. They weren't able to find 2 weeks in 5 years to create a damn livrery editor? It sound a bit strange, no?..

Real racing cars, even amateur ones have paintjobs, get real.

you argument is like suggesting PD cutting off photomode from users who don't have a photography degree because it will make the game look bad.

Sorry HKS thats a rediculous argument, are you saying that every game ever that has allowed any area of design has somehow wronged the devs if they made something rediculous?

Spore had so much porn being created and the dev loved it as he thought it demonstrated how well the creator worked as people could manipulate it so easily and showed that it allowed all creativity.

Also are you saying everyone on black ops with a swastika or penis has wronged the devs? It may be offensive to cotton wrap kids but they have not done anything 'wrong' with the creator.

In fact are you saying if I went to my next art class and used pink my work is now rediculous and should not be allowed?

It is not up to you to EVER tell someone how to use a designer, and I trully hope if a livery editor is brought in for GT6 that you are bombarded with Hello Kitty supercars just to rip it out of you.

You want to know the one single fact which proves your argument wrong, that PD did in fact want and accept people painting their cars pink? They put it in the game. If they didnnt want people to do it they would not have put pink cars, and therefore paint chips.

There's about half a dozen people in this thread, and I'll include my name in the mix, that think it's a perfectly acceptable colour for a racing car. There's another half dozen or so that agree with your idea that pink is wrong, but still think you have no right to tell others what to do.

You call people immature but a mature person would have cut their losses a long time ago.



To try and bring this thread somewhat back on course, I like the blue, I like the lime green and I think the Pink Citroen was awesome. I think red is boring and over done.

It's hilarious that you think painting a car pink somehow ruins it. Do you still think pink is a 'girl's colour? Grow up friend. And if you can't appreciate the inherent awesomeness of a car painted bright pink with hello kitty stickers on it, then you're probably the exact type of person cars painted like that are designed to annoy.

That's great! The matte white is incredible, too - looks like it might be UV reactive.

It reminds me of the SAS desert-camouflaged "Pink Panthers"

👍 This. I painted the wheels on my ZR-1 RM pink, just because. And I don't hate the way it looks. If Kaz didn't want pink cars or wheels, the color wouldn't be available in the game. If Kaz wants a livery editor, it will be in the game at some point.

It's not a color I personally am crazy about, but it's no less valid a car color than turquoise or chrome...

Chrome doesn't actually look half bad on the Zonda. Its complicated shape really allows the light to jump off it and for colors to reflect in various interesting ways.

I will say that it also sort of looks like some kind of SEMA show car.

I painted mine Vitamin C orange, I got it from the daily log in gifts of paint chips and museum cards. I was going to paint it the lime green from the Amuse S2000 and post some photos but somebody beat me to it.

This is the only picture I was able to get of it, for some reason it wont let me view my others on the GT website, so I exported them all to the XMB and this was still the only one I could view. Strange.

Oh and I gotta laugh at HKS trying to dictate what people should do with their cars. If the game is ruined by a pink painted car then I feel sorry for you. It's a legitimate colour, or else Lexus wouldn't have painted their LFA in it.

But if there is a livrery editor somepeople would like to create silly stuff.. and we came back to the starting point! There are lot of us who would love a livrery editor to create some nice race cars replica or new models but Poliphony decided to cut it off because they know there is somebody outthere who wouldn't use the livrery editor properly. AND THAT'S A SHAME. To understand this you understand PD's mentality and the meaning of Gran Turismo series..
