That's for silly people don't do it đź‘Ž Pd should avoid pink colors in supercars like Ferrari, Aston, Jaguar, Lamborghini because you are basically clawing and trolling with it, Pd mentality is people don't troll with their cars. This is the main reason why we don't have a livrery editor, because of this silly people :grumpy:
Anyway a Lime Green Zonda R (or other decent colours) would be something interesting.

Really? lol Amazing what people let get under their skin.

Just shut up!!

The Enzo in GT5 is a crap car and it is not my driving ability - as I have no problem with the McLaren F1 or the other Ferraris.
And feel free to not reply to my post - because I will not read it - as something like you comes on my ignore list .....

First of all you can say shut up to your brother to your friends not to me,second the Enzo is a great Supercar and if you can't handle and tune it's your problem, not a car problem. If people expect every supercar drive like a Mitsubishi Evo, well go buy need for speed. You need to understand how the car react. Try not to flat out that gas pedal, you need sensibility, you need skills Ferrari Enzo is not a Mitsubishi. And I'm well happy if you added me in your ignore list, I really don't need to waste time with people like you, but who is posting like you in this forum really need to know something more about driving techniques before say a car is not good or "crap" as you little kids love to say.

Why is Lime Green any different from Pink? They're both bright and obnoxious. Getting all worked up over Pink just shows immaturity, a color is a color :( Don't write it off due to stupid associations and hangups.

I personally wouldn't paint any of those cars pink (probably), but suggesting noone should be able to do it?

At any rate, I'm quite happy with my pink drift tuned S13 :P

Because tune a S13 in pink color is pretty common technique, it is a drift car if you add some decals it can become cool too, something like this S15:

But if you turn a Supercar in something ugly like this, it's thrash, you know it's something ridiculous. GT5 is intended to be a car's enthusasts game. You can tune it, you can paint it, you can do what you want but you can't trash it.. if you know what I mean, PD don't want people trash with their cars, I hope it's not so hard to understand.

Export them to the xmb via the GT5 photo album, then transfer them to pc using a usb stick.

I have never seen a community try to dictate how other people play their game like this one does. This of course does not apply to everyone just a small minority.

And this is one of my problems with GT 5. I know it's all about the driving and it plays very well, but your making it seem as though the second you want to customize the look of your car you should go play NFS or something. Forza proved that it's possible to be able to customize your car and still have pretty good driving physics. Not as good as GTs but still pretty decent. I just don't get why PD is so uptight about what people do to their cars. Who cares, I mean really, the guys at Forza don't seem to care, in fact they embrace it and have a great community that makes some pretty cool looking cars.

Now I wouldn't want a livery creator/customizer if it meant taking away something from the game physics. When it comes down to it I prefer the driving part which is why GT will always be my favorite, but even a small thing, like changing rims on any car or even just a few layers or different paint colors(not this chip BS). There is still stuff we can do to the cars but I would like just maybe a little more.

Breaking news: Yamauchi San can't wait to add this tuning mod in GT5 as a DLC, letting people add every kind of silly stuff immaginable in all the premium models!!!
Other rumors are saying the Flistones car will become a Stealth car

So? How does that have anything to do with you? People are different and like to do different things. What gives you or anyone else the right to dictate something that doesn't affect you whatsoever?

In Shift i painted my Zonda R Black then gave it a Red stripe down the middle and fitted it with gold rims. My car will be Black with gold wheels again (shame about the stripe :( )

Gran Tursimo is made by a car's enthusiast who want people appreicate cars for what they are, without trashing them.
this is a logo they used in a recent spot:

So please stop using words like "dictate" or "what gives you the right" you are completelly and deliberately missing the point trying to exploit the meaning of this discussion.

No. I'm just saying people can paint their cars any color the want and there is nothing you can do about it but whine.

But the carbon still stays on, right?

Nevermind, I found some pictures that shows that it stays.

I'm off to the paint shop :dopey:

But if there is a livrery editor somepeople would like to create silly stuff.. and we came back to the starting point! :ouch: There are lot of us who would love a livrery editor to create some nice race cars replica or new models but Poliphony decided to cut it off because they know there is somebody outthere who wouldn't use the livrery editor properly. AND THAT'S A SHAME. To understand this you understand PD's mentality and the meaning of Gran Turismo series..

Do you have anything that backs that up?

Edit.

No you don't. This is from the interview posted here and GTPlanet

"Would this include a livery editor?

“Probably not for GT5, though it’s certainly on our list of things to work on…”.

https://www.gtplanet.net/gamescom-the-yamauchi-interview/

No where does it say it was not implemented because of concern for abuse.

If 2 + 2 = 4.. If you know Kaz and you take a look to all the past Gran Turismo games ask your self why there is no livrery editor, I can't believe the didn't added because the weren't able to do it. What I'm 200% sure is that he would NOT like an hello kitty supercar in his game.

That's opinion not evidence that that is the reason there is no editor. I posted the interview where they talk about working on it. You posted opinion and try to pass it off as fact.

So the people who do those stupid things to their cars like in the previous pictures you posted don't love cars? People have different ways of expressing the ways they love cars, even if it is making them horribly ugly.

Is Poliphony so bad programmers that they are not able to create a livrery editor? I don't so, it sound very strange at least. You've posted an interview where he say that is "in our list of things to do" but why they didn't do it yet? Is it a priority for them? It seems no. Maybe they are trying to implement something like Grid? Where you can't create a livrery from scrach but you can add some decals and some predesigned layers to the car? Who knows, maybe. I hope so. I think something like that would perfectly work in Gran Tursimo avoiding people to create silly stuff and letting them create interesting race cars livreries. But I don't think livrery editor is the biggest priority for them at the moment.

Ok but that is a long way from they didn't include the editor because people would abuse it or make designs you dislike.

It's hilarious that you think painting a car pink somehow ruins it. Do you still think pink is a 'girl's colour? Grow up friend. And if you can't appreciate the inherent awesomeness of a car painted bright pink with hello kitty stickers on it, then you're probably the exact type of person cars painted like that are designed to annoy.

You probably think this rifle is 'ruined' too;

This is an official camouflage colour of the "Navy Seals" ...
For dessert it is variations of brown.... ....for snow areas it is white... ...when they have to fight in the woods it is green...
... and the pink one is, when they have to raid a "Barbie shop" ;))

Now thats just too funny. The M4 is painted "flat" pink instead of glossy as if it will somehow hide better without reflectivity..LMFAO. Either way, I still like the pic being a FPS player.

I do, but it has more to do with the designer (Stoner) than with the colour... :D

ETA: That Hello Kitty sticker on it is pure win, though. Might have to hook up one of those for my AK!
