I like to hear(or read) that PAL has the best GT4 quality game

I saw the pics of some of the PAL cars but is it possible to see the pictures of the other cars aswell? Like the Chrysler 300 C for example. And is it the HEMI version or the normal

And do you see a chance that they will add more cars? For example the Bentley Continental GT or the BMW M6?

No game can improve the limits of what it's on, thats why theyre limits, also KY never said GT4 will do that, he did say it pushes the PS2 closer to them, and it does that quite a bit.

I mean for a game which pretends to push the PS2 close to its limits, not having a 60Hz mode is a shame!

All those japanese people have a game with less cars and options. You see people, how longer we wait, how more we get. I'm curious what the US people will get because that version comes even later then PAL.

If we don't get these 12 cars, I'm going European. The Jaguar alone is reason enough for me.

...oh pleasae PD when ypu´re putting that beautiful cars in your MEGA-Game please put that TOYOTA TS010 IN, too!!!!....please!!!...it should be complete than and the TS010 is a very famous car too(it won JSPC, 1000km Fuji.....!)
so there´s no reason why it shouldn´t be in the game!!

...and for the experts:here´s THE TOYOTA TS010, which reached place 2 right behind the Peugeot 905 in 1992:

If those news are true, the PS2 has to do 576i instead of 480i. So, if it had already reached its limit at 480i with 60Hz, how do you want to do 576i with 60Hz with it?

What I am interested in is: will there be 576p and 1080i?

How can you know that your tv supports 480i 480p or more?

I already look in the TV manual but it isn't in. I know it is a Philips 28PW9503/12 - 16:9 100hz TV.

...i´´ve posted a pic of it, too!...and it says "LM Winner" so it just can´t be another peugeot with #1 and from 1992!

Please, notice that both releases are not press releases, although they might appear in press or on press-sites in very close future. Second overview release is avaliable at SCEE official site, at http://www.scee.presscentre.com/Content/Detail.asp?ReleaseID=3678&NewsAreaID=2. First info should be officially released in near future, or possibly they will hold it up all until the prior to the release.

Both infos are 100% accurate and they contain only valid informations. Also expect some additional improvemets over the info communicated in the first thread.

Notice that SCEE is not using any other word then "optimization", so please do not consider all those features as add-ons, but as "optimization" of the game-code .

Thanks for the precision. Because the 1992's 905 had a front wing whereas the 1992 Le Mans' 905 hadn't.

Although the cars are fantastic. The addition of using your own cars on 2p battle is the biggest thing for me. I'm not sure why it was left out in the first place.

I read somewhere that 2p isn't that popular in japan so this could be a reason for omitting it in certain regions.

By the lack of online the 2player mode has to be perfect!!! So I hope all the good things will be in like it was in GT3

I Imagine that it was left out due to Online being in... then as they pulled online they didn't introduce Mem Battle...

Either that or online & 2player was part of the same menu screens and they had to hastily rebuild a non online 2 player screen and didn't get the code finished in time for Japanese release but have it all sorted now.

I think you are right Hombleracer, the mid-race game save thingy would certainly be a welcome addition, but it's probably not going to happen...besides, it would take the fun out of doing the 24 hour Endurance races in A-Spec mode, like AE86 Driver's sterling effort at the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago...
