What do you mean with cleared?

As in "passed", - we get the licences, but not the cars. Plus, the next set of licence-test are automaticly unlocked. GTC had the same funtion in GT3, except with far more money. Those extra hundred grand will be a welcome gift, nonetheless.

Is see other people ask in game car photo's but I'm only have seen six or so of the 12 cars that will be in the game. Is it possible to give us some pics about those car's?

Or maybe in game shot from the new PAL options in 2player mode...

I could really care less about most of these "enhancements" for the PAL release, but one. The ability to switch from a-spec to b-spec in the pits in longer races. That alone makes b-spec useful. Think about. In a 24 hour race, even a 12 hour race. One driver rarely completes the entire distance. They always switch off to another, sometimes multiple. So with this new ability to switch you can start a 24 hour race, drive the first stint, get yourself a good track position, on your pit stop you can let the "2nd driver" (b-spec) take over for the next stint(s) and come back when you are rested to do you stint...etc. It is like having a second driver now. Very good.

Oh and I'd like to drive the Auto Union streamliner...but that doesn't tempt me much.

Hopefully that a=b-=spec thing will be in the north american release. Thus far I am 100% happy with my NTSC-J version.

I'm literally praying that these two features find their way into the US release as well:

- 2-player battles using memory cards and players' own garage.
- Change from A-spec to B-spec (and vice versa) during pitstops.

But what I don't understand is that you have to follow the B-spec as well because you can set the mode from 1 till 5 so you are good positioned and lapped cars so you put the B spec on number 1 or 2 but does the b-spec knows when it has to go in pits itself? Because you have that option aswell to say he has to pit.

About that photo's, we see pictures of that Audi's and Alfa GT already so we want the other cars rendered in game as well so we are sure they will be in.

How fast do you think he will go on the unchicaned le-mans track?

It seems the perfect car for the 24h le mans and the people who have the japanese version can't drive it only the PAL boys. 👍

See b-spec is never as fast as you can be driving in a-spec, even a crappy a-spec driver is faster than the best b-spec. That being said if you drive the first stint and get a comfortable lead you can let b-spec take over set to "3" (relax) to hold pace and maybe save some fuel in order to work out a pit strategy.

it just adds to the realism and strategy of endurance racing.

granted driving for 24hours in bright sun isn't the most realistic, unless of course your racing circuit is above the actic circle in the summer, don't know many of those.

thank for the explanation but one more thing. You always have to say when he goes to the pits right? So go out, watch tv for an hour and let b-spec do the job isn't possible.

Have to spare a thought to all the Japanese people who will miss out on these changes though... put yourselves in their shoes and you'd all be going mad

I don't think the home market players need much of our sympathies, considering all of the other perks they have had, over the years.

On the other hand, all it takes is another recompile and they get all updates, so the next Asian publication will take care of that for them.

updates aren't possible because it is not online and PS2 doesn't have a hard disk.

I don't know for the unchicaned le mans, but the 905 did a 3'21 time on the chicaned track which is far faster than the most recent LM cars

BUT WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SAVE!!!! That would be much more helpfull!!

BUT it's a big help just because you can now play the game in B-spec while not concentrate as much, and that's really helpful too

Great news about the 2player garage option, I hope they put full screen replays in 2player also.
