how is it the pal version is the best looking version? I recall someone saying "we get the best looking," or something to that extent.

More pixels on your screen with the PAL system when compared to the NTSC that American and Asian tv's use. More pixels means more detail, well when implemented, which they did with GT4.

Now what's on my mind is what will the GT4 U.S Version additions be?... this is making me very frustrated already.. there's been news about the PAL... GT4 and none of the U.S Ver. ... now the possibilities would be that you could acquire such cars as the Jaguar XJR9 from the PAL Ver. via. Gameshark.. or some other source.... but nevertheless.. has there been any information on such matters as the U.S Ver. acquiring X and X of cars??..

just go here select language blah blah blah, enter minisite and there will be a lil black thing in top right corner, the samples of the songs will be in there with loads of others but they are in alphabetical order 👍

what is this...NEW eclipse? how is it different from the eclipse GTS convertible thats already in the game?

I can honestly say I don't care about 480p and 1080i and even 60hz.

If it runs as good as Prologue and has 2p garage battles I am delighted with it.

And we all know it blows Prologue away.. and with 2p garage battles.. there is not much to criticise.

Most people don't have those kind of TV's anyway.. or in my experience.

PAL is 50HZ, so of course they don't have 60HZ like us. They also have 520 lines of resolution and not 480 like us. It's a complete different system.

It'd be quite funny if you were to start an enduro in A-Spec and switched to B-Spec for one set of laps, then at the end of the race it defaults to B-Spec points...

Any news on increase in competitiveness of the AI???

It's a shame that GT4, with all these LM cars, only has FIVE other cars to compete with, it'd be really neat to have a couple of each, on different strategies, to compete against...

I wonder that since 12 cars have been added to the PAL version, maybe they have secretly added a Euro track or two...

updates aren't possible because it is not online and PS2 doesn't have a hard disk.

Updates are always possible. GT2 was updated, after the 100% problem was identified.

That doesn't mean updates will always be free for previous owners of a game, though. If you want a later version with more stuff in it, just go buy it.

Hmmm... 256@50Hz instead of 240@50Hz. This will give more detail but consider that NTSC has 525 lines and PAL has 625 lines on the TV screen. Which is actually going to look better?

i'm still glad i got the japanese version, cause it's keeping me sane until the PAL version comes out.......but i was really hoping that the PAL version would have improvements and certain bugs fixed, i'm really excited about the new cars, the A and B spec mode switch (yes, i was the guy who started the "B-spec mode is a waste of disc space" thread), front and rear bumpers with the spoilers, etc......SWEEEEEEETTTTT

Hmm, both those Photek songs are in the Japanese/Chinese version and I think those two tracks after that are in as well, as is the Kasabian song. Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs aren't on the Japanese version though.
