lol you got a point there. Then you have to start the game all over, so when you almost have 100% an you fly of that mountain ooh that's hard for the profile
better save your game often would something like that is integrated in the game

That brings a new point up that should be added to GT5. Not only should you pay to enter a race, pay to repair your car and also pay your driver. By entering a contract with your "driver" to race certain events or for a certain time period (a race 15 schedule or a full year). Similar to the used car lot you would have a drivers hall that you would be able to pick a driver based on experience for different events and different amounts of money. 💡

Well since they will be multiple versions of GT in the future this could be applied to GT Pro making progress in GT4 slow look like lighting fast compared to it successor. It you want a very easy game to complete buy GT for boys not GT Pro

In DTM Race driver you have a career mode but the system from GT4 without a career is good aswell

The way you progress in the GT games in the best in any racing game IMO, however it could do with a few bits adding to spice it up a bit and a bit of tweaking so you don't always get that done this, been there, seen it feeling.

Especially when you have used cars in GT4 now, it's even better

Theres no memory card battle in the Asian GT4, this feature has supposedly made it into the PAL version and as a result possibly the NTSC too but no news on using it in LAN mode.

If it's not in the game it's probably becasue of the game being a year late and that the sponsors and or team pulled the rights on it. I'm not sure but I believe that Marlboro switched to a different team in 2004. Even though their not on the car in the game the empty white box still stands for it.

I doubt thats why, PD don't need a license from Marlboro to put an empty whit rectangle on a car in GT. It's a bit of an oddie this, the only reason I can think of is that it wa too similar to the Lancer super rally car but then similar cars hasn't stopped PD before.

Seeing these extra cars makes me think PD models far more cars that never make it into gt4 i wonder if they have some ferrari's etc modelled? They probably have the ultimate gt edition laying around there offices

I doubt they could have an edition of GT even in the office with unlicensed cars. If anyone saw it and news got out PD would be in a lot of trouble and could lose a lot of money for one small thing.

Yeah it could be a possibility. I've read from these threads that PD was test-driving Ferrari cars so I guess it's possible. But then again I dunno..

Actually, the sponsers are in listed on the other Lancer Rally Car. So that isn't it.
I am ASSUMING the reason is due to Tommi's having retired over a full year ago.

Yea, but do there have o be sooo many, they also could have included some ferrari's(cause they ould have make an deal with EA, im sure)

Maybe it's an hidden unlockable, just ask Maskrider, or maybe you ain't far enough in the game

who knows: the EA license ended in Decembre 2004, maybe PD has a little Ferrari suprise for us for GT4 PAL, and also GT 5 and Gt 6

Isn't the Subaru Impreza Prototype in the game as well as all three generations of rally car? If so I don't see why the Mitsubishi shouldn't be.

in regards to Marlboro... you wouldn't see anything but a white box as many countries have laws against tobacco advertising. Since the game is done by regions instead of individual countries, it would be wiped out in all models of the car so that there wouldn't be any legal infractions.
