He was one of the few guys in Hollywood I truly admire and he had a big impact on me with those FF movies that shaped me into the car guy I am now. He was one of us and I know several people who have met him and can't praise him enough.

From what I've gathered, there was a hoax up a couple of days ago, which was confirmed as a hoax. Then today the actual tragedy happened, so there is a lot of confusion in the media and social networks currently.

Truly is a tragedy, as despite the sometimes questionable nature of his movies, he was a genuine gear head.

I loved him in the Fast & the Furious series, but Joy Ride, Into the Blue, also Running Scared was very good. Last one I don't recommend unless you like some messed up stuff in movies.

I'm quite sad too , I just can't believe this at all. And the reports he was only doing these test drives for a charity event to raise money makes it far more sad. Then you add the fact someone hoaxed his death a couple days ago and it gets far too eerie.

I still can't accept this. F&F helped cement in me as a child the passion for cars I have today, and I'm sure it has done that for many others. He's a part of my childhood, and one of my favorite actors. He even had a passion for cars behind the scenes as well, which just made him all the more likeable.

Wow. Speechless for a second. I love cars. I love Paul Walker, but I just wish that these stars would just take responsibility with vehicles. There has been so many deaths through car crash and he's one to add to the list sadly.
