several months ago their server had 30+ car races regularly in the evening hours. I haven't raced it since then. Also be prepared, they require a high level of driving. It is OK to be slow, but it is not OK to cause wrecks. They will ask you to park. As you know wrecks in NR2003 take out several cars
They still use NR2003 because EA has had the NASCAR license since 2004 and cannot make a proper NASCAR sim

Hello, it's been along time since I posted here so I thought I might aswell post some stuff I have. (Hey Turbo Lag, i'm Kelvjy off TDU-Central if you remember). Anyway some random photos from LFS and TDU incoming.

nope, thats the VLN 2005 mod for rFactor. Its a series where over 100 cars run simultaneously on the Nurburgring Nord ranging from cars that are almost stock to full out GT machines.
I just joined a league and in the next race, 57 cars are scheduled to be on track. I dont know if that many will actually show up

All the tracks in iRacing are laser scanned. Driving a Laser scanned version of the nurburgring would be amazing with all the bumps and elevation/camber changes being scanned to near perfection. It would be quite the task. They're scanning other euro tracks in 2009.

I'm very much into american motorsport right now. Particularly the 80's/90's era. Luckily for me there are some great mods for NR2003 which covers my taste perfectly.

One thing that bothers me however, is that I fail to install the AeroWar88 mod. Probably because I use Vista... Has anyone here succeded in installing that mod on a Vista cumputer?

yeah they can, but its discouraged. I am still not sure what car I'm going to enter with, or what division... I am thinking about entering w/ a 417hp Porsche, but it feels too slow and I'm too slow My best lap time sofar is 9:03. I think I'm about 10 seconds or so off from what the car can actually do.
Not mine, but some shots (photoshop?) from the upcoming free Volvo game and a video for those who haven't seen. Its supposed to be released the 25th or 26th, i think...

Hey, 10 seconds off of a 9 minute lap isn't that slow! I'm usually 3 seconds off on a 1-2 minute lap!
Great videos, keep 'em coming. I'm a rFactor and iRacer myself and when I haven't raced in a few days, the videos you post always make me want to go race!
