RACECAR told me about the video and I thought I'd share it with you. I don't have rFactor on my PC, but I would like to get it when I can get a better performing PC.
Here are a couple of images from my last league race of Gamers Crib Season 4.
I started 6th and due to my epic launches I got to 2nd by turn 1. This is at turn 6
Gamers Crib is one of the leading GTR2 and GTL league runners and forums. It can be found at www.gamers-crib.com. They are currently organising season 5, in GT class.
i just jumped on nurburg gp and i get about 70FPS w/ 21 other F1 cars in front of me. TBH the lighting in rfactor is really behind the times. GTA4 (just bought it today) has some impressive dynamic lighitng and shadows in comparison to rfactor. These pics don't really show it off well, but I'll take better ones later.
Apologies for the repost from a different thread, but I thought it was worth sharing in this thread as well.
I had a look around rFactor Central website back on December 23rd after viewing a link for a mod that JohnBM01 gave in the rFactor topic and came across this rather interesting item.
This is a race utilizing a British F1 Stock car mod and is the concluding event of the season on a website called Sim-Stox. It's done in a style similar to the BriSCA F1 Stockcar World Final race that takes place at the Ipswitch Stadium in Northampton.
Now correct me on this, but would a reasonable description of BriSCA Stockcars for American members be along the manner of cars made in a similar style to the World of Outlaws winged sprint cars, but they race on asphalt as well as dirt?
