10 years strong. The physics are still top notch.

I thought I was playing nKpro with oversteer prone tires

Another clip of me practicing for this week's racing at Infineon IRL config in he skippy.
I'm down to 1'51, but I should be down to 1'49 soon.
The skip barber reminds me a bit of gpl.

Its about time I contributed something to this thread again.

Made a bit of an error on the Hungaroring..

The WSGT mod is great fun, although the FXX and F50GT are tough to drive.

A gamerscrib race at silverstone on occasion from Fernando's LM race there last week.

oversteer fun in 4WD RB4 in LFS S2.. still trying to include lift-off oversteer.. no sound and crappy quality.

Anyone finding Lime rock in the skippy is just too unsafe to bother with? I mean your tempting fate getting through a race and come out with a higher SR..

Ive managed a 1'00.4 in the skippy around limerock chicaned, but i havnt done a single race yet.. its just.. meh. Awesome fun dont get me wrong, but with my goal to get SR high, its just not smart

yeah, i dropped my rookie rating from a 4.66 to a 4.41 trying to race at limerock. i think i had 14 incidences in one race, and then my pc crashed. I spun out about 4 times and there was a nasty pileup in front of me. Probably my worst race ever. Also, i was getting a strange stuttering because my LCD monitor is old and i forgot to turn on vsynch :(

I'd really like to have a nice touring car or GT car to move up to instead of the skippy. I am thinking about skipping the latemodel and buying the craftsman truck and focusing on oval racing until they give us a nice gt or touring car to race with.

Here's the last few laps of a good fight. I'm the number 4 car. The imbed should be good quality.
iRacing looks so god damn kick ass! Please give me a job someone so I can get a new computer and a G25!

EDIT: Oh, nice win btw! 👍

Three more recent iRacing captures...

Legends car @ Lowe's Infield

Solstice @ Daytona Road (short course)

Solstice @ VIR Full

High quality available on all three.

From Racer, I tuned my Legacy. Added CF hood, added Suby badge, added STI badge, changed number plates, darkened rear lights, changed rims, added Impreza STI steering wheel, pink clusters from STI, lowered, added camber, changed engine sound to a deeper idle and low revs. Took a few hours, and I'm happy with it.

One thing to keep in mind Leon when tuning a car is that you want to be aiming for a balance in terms of the visual modifications. You've a carbon-fibre bonnet, yet the rest of the car looks quite untouched. I personally don't like the use of extravagant amounts of cf on the car, just the subtleties like cf lips, side mirrors etc. If you were to retain the cf hood, however, it might be a good idea to throw some equally dark, spoke-laden BBS wheels to spread that sort of level of visual modification across the side of the car. Furthermore, a cf-lip wouldn't hurt. Apart from the bonnet, however, it's quite clean and well done. 👍

I get what you mean, it's a shame I can't edit and create parts or your look is what I was going for. Adding parts is still a step away from what I have been doing, although I'll try a few more things later on.

Another battle with Fernando Rees, mike was in there for alot of it, I'll post a video soon. It's the brand new ALMS mod.

I need to boost my RAM so that my replays will extend back further in races, that way I can get some shots of the full grid on the opening laps.

:odd:OK, so how did that get in there?
LOL, it's a bronze sculpture that is part of the Barber Motorsports Park allure. See here or here for a closer, real-life shot.

No idea what the story is behind why they built it, and there's a bunch of other little "wildlife" sculptures scattered around the complex as well. Nothing nearly as big as that one, however.
