Just got a VR and it's fantastic just hoping a patch for PC will be out for VR. Anyone know or heard of anything yet?

You can best ask on the official pCARS forums.

Obviously pCARS on PC supports both the rift and vive, but getting it working on PS4 would involve some heavy tuning of performance.

Thanks for the reply, it would suck if drive club is all the VR has to offer in terms of driving games as the potential for PC or AC or even better f1to totally blow the player out of the water do to speak. After putting on my vr and literally blown away with the basic drive club game had just made crave a real sim in this aspect.

I only played the dc demo and thought it looked awful, maybe the full game is better?
I think pcars would have taken a massive graphical hit on vr, perhaps they knew that but weren't allowed/didn't want to say.
Loving psvr, the immersion is incredible and I've ordered the Pro to make the most of it which wasn't even on my radar.
Nice marketing Sony..

Defiantly PC would have to a graphical hit, well until the new more powerful PS4 is realeased but I honestly think it won't be until the ps5 that we see goo stable and consistent racing on VR and graphically aswell. The DC full game on VR is blurry as hell but when that's all that's available, guess you gotta go with it.
