PD dont know trucks

Seriously guys, Trucks in GT4 were an experiment of sorts...PD are probably going to include more sometime down the road, but lets not get upset because they had to maximize their time with cars since the majority of enthusiast and racing leagues consist of CARS. Sooner or later GT will have more vehicles than we care to own, crying about trucks at this time is as useful as it is crying about all the other cars that didn't make it.

TBH they shouldn't have included any cars that were'nt premium. They are just padding the stats by including all of the POS standard models. You would have thought that they could have had a small team only working on the car models. 200 premium models in 5 years is an embarrassment.

No sir a gimmick is being given a ****ing premium model Kubelwagen. I know not everyone likes trucks or even cars but c'mon the TRD Tundra Rock Warrior package can do 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. This is a truck ladies not a porsche, if GT5 represents the pinnacle of racing then why have trucks from the beginning of the decade when the racing world has influenced new designs that deserve recognition.

Yeah, because arbitrarily excluding hundreds of cars they hardly put any time or effort into would totally have solved all of our problems.

The standard cars are indeed embarrassing, but if the game only had the ~200 premium cars, I think Kazunori Yamauchi would have a lot of broken windows to fix. And a new brick collection.

The only fun in racing trucks would be if they could rollover properly. They don't so there is no point in racing them since they act like really heavy cars.

Also the Daytona truck race is just a disgrace and should never have been included.

Why do you think Gran turismo (1) was so revolutionary?
At the time everyone was making racing games with fictional cars and kart racers. Gran turismo used average cars used by normal people. Civics, Preludes, lancers etc. Its not all about the racing, its also about the simulation.
Soon though They started emphasizing history as well, What cars were historically significant (In the world of automotives) and thats why the put the Kubel/Schwimmwagen in the game. There not fast either, why dont you whine about them?

I would take the TRD Tundra over the X-Runner but if both were there i wouldnt complain. The Silverado I tried to put down on the list wasnt a hybrid. The VHO stands for Vortec High Output same motor as the Chevy SS

Oh. Well regarding the X-Runner, it was specifically built to handle as well as a 350Z. Makes it a good truck for Gran Turismo.
