Permanent Borrow Glitch Trading Thread

Am I the only one that dislikes this? To each their own, but it just doesn't seem "right".

It doesn't seem right to make a UCD that makes me wait literally over a THOUSAND races / restarts to be able to buy certain cars.

This website will tell you when any car you search for will show up in the UCD. It actually works, it's a great website, but I've found that many cars I want won't show up before more than a thousand ingame days have passed. That's over 1000 races/race restarts until certain cars are made available to me - cars that are over 950.000 cr. and can't be traded because PD put the car cr. limit on trading.
Now though, I can make new accounts, find out where my new UCD is on the car rotation list, and if it's close to the cars I want, I can glitch my way to them.

The only thing that isn't "right" here, is PD making a game that won't make a lot of desirable cars available for an unreasonable amount of time. And even if you waited, you might have screwed up with you cr. and not have enough to buy the cars you want - you'd miss your chance and have to wait for another 1000 ingame days.
I see nothing wrong with twisting a system that's made to make the game a worse experience.

^ I've got to agree there. Because cars worth more than 1 mil can't be traded you have no option but to keep grinding for them and thats all I do these days, any real progress in the game stopped a long time ago because all I do is grind for maybe a half dozen races to buy a must-have car in the UCD, then I have to start grinding again ready for the next one to show up. Grind, grind, grind is all I do. I mean, I bought the Chap 2J when it showed up in the UCD, which cost me nearly 15 mil. Doing the Sarthe nets me half a million, which means it takes 30 races to earn the money back, at about 4 minutes a race taking into account cycling the menu and starting the race, means 2 hours of sheer grinding to pay for one car. Which is nuts. (Ok, I've since found out you can get it from ripping a '70 ticket, but to the purists even that is "cheating.")

And the 20 million limit, whats that about? It forces you to keep grinding since you can't build up a cushion fund at all, I mean if I asked my bank manager if I was only allowed to deposit 20 million and no more he'd laugh in my face!

Each to their own, I guess. You play it your way, and I'll play it mine. To me this game is supposed to be about the driving and not the grinding. Feel free to rant...

Okay here's my thoughts.In hindsight I am a purist,I lost my game save for no apparent reason,I come here to discover a quickish way to get it back,does this make me a cheat?(considering I owned 90% of the cars I have glitched before the ship went down) Of course it doesn't. I am just reclaiming what I've previously had.(you can call me out on the X10 proto,F2007 and Miura but thats it.) Just my 2c.👍

Can you save the game data to a memory stick and reload it from there instead of downloading it every time?

i dont see point in sharing things liek the furai. it can be wone pretty easily by playing through game n i'm not really into sharing one that are easy to get. Dont mind that race cars from the endurance cos lets face it. not everyone has that much time but for the most part if you spend time playing game or check out the prize/reward list on teh forums you can see what you need. its a waste of a borrow slot. sure everyone wants a certain color but a car's jus as fast no matter what the color.

So you guys are reinstalling the game for every car? Wa haha have fun with that. Try to not swamp the servers with your noobish activities. Some of us like to actually play the game. All I can see happening is you guys crashing the servers with constant update/download requests.

and what of those of us doing it that HAVE played the game and got gold in all but the 2 a-spec 24hour races and are just getting extra cars we want or moving specific cars to a second account?

not all folk doing it are noobs, i've played the game, i still play the game but while a window of oppertunity is open i'm getting some expensive cars that will cut down of some grinding. personally i like to race properly online and not sit for hours on end going round in circles grinding for cars cos thats not preally playing either is it? hell most of britain is taking oppertunity of open windows atm

oh dont worry. i've already had that arguement. its like. TRUST ME! it works cos i've been doing it for the past 3 days and have 20 new cars. if its not working, your not doing it right

there is that but coupel these guys hadnt even played game. talking to rob earlier i had a guy FR me and h'ed only done a race and game was too hard and wanted help. sorry but if u aint played game i aint gonna help lol experience it first n put effort in liek rest of us have. majority of ones i've traded with on here have all been 30+ in both specs
