ok so this glitch works because the whole borrowing thing was a patched in feature, so when you are using a borrowed car and delete all patched features they games see you in the car and assumes you must own it or why else would you be in it 
so when i borrow a car and delete the game data, the game thinks i must own the car so when i jump into another car it just leave it in my garage instead of taking it away.
then when i load up the game data again it sees me in a car that i own and not the one i borrowed which is now mine and say well you seem t own all the cars you have so everything seems to be in order here
i'll have to have a serious think about which if any cars i would wanna put this much effort into getting, only a few come to mind right now, the C9 sauber mercedes 2j race car and the corvette C5-R

Effort is correct, GT5 is an effort to get the cars and results you want, which is fine if you love the game as most of us do, I've only sponged one car because its the only car I wanted that I had no hope in getting (Vettel Prototype....unless I buy a steering wheel/pedals combo....even then Im not sure id get it).
I've got most of the 'Race Cars' in the game by putting in the effort and time and patience to get them. Im a happy bunny

ok, sorry maybe effort is the wrong word, i dont mind grinding through big races a few times for cash for a car i want. this trade is a bit of a faff and involves alot of waiting about for the ps3 to do its own thing, i would get very bored

lol BT Broadband, biggest pain in the a** ever, so glad we switched from it. Every evening it'd just cut off once an hour or so, really annoying playing online. shame really cos that homehub unit is actually a really great signal, just a shame the service is shocking
