Just Google "borrow glitch app" you will find it. It should be the first one. I might just upload the zip folder depending on the size of the file.

Hello guys i am a new member and i have one question about borrow car.
I do step by step this manual:
1. Back up current save file to a second [or third] location. [I.E. PC, USB flash device, or external HDD.]
2. Start up Gran Turismo 5 and borrow a car from someone on your friends list.
3. Save your game. [You don't have to due to auto save, but I always manually save.]
4. Quit the game to the XMB.
5. Delete the GAME DATA, NOT THE GAME SAVE. [It will take about 5 minutes if it's the first time, it will delete quicker after this first time. The Game DATA is located in the top folder on the 'game' tab in the XMB.]
6. Start up Gran Turismo 5.
7. Refuse to download patches. [Press CIRCLE when the message comes up.]
8. Refuse to install the game to HDD.
9. When the game loads, go in to 'GT Mode.'
10. You will see you own the borrowed car [letters not red, no key next to it], but make sure you change to a different car from your garage. [Do NOT buy one from the NCD or OCD.]
11. Save your game. [Again, you don't have to due to auto save, but I always manually save.]
12. Quit the game to XMB.
13. Start up Gran Turismo 5.
14. Download the game patches/updates.
15. Refuse to install game to HDD, unless you won't sponge again.
16. Go into 'GT Mode,' go to your garage, check out and enjoy your new car. (you can find at 1st page of this topic)
Now my problem is in step no9, gt5 can't start with out update with results next steps will be lost.

Yep, you sure can - s0ul_chicken is where they will be put up for share. I don't get home until an hour after reset, but they will be up for 24 hours. I will then take the unlucky number 7 (which ever color that may be) and put it up for share at tomorrow's reset.
Agreed! It's nice getting back to it, and to basics. I don't have the time I used to, so I am very limited in my race time. I do make it a point to get my race on Sunday mornings though!

It depends on whom you get the car from. Remember some glitch used cars to 0/0/0 or some might of painted them to said color but chip may be different.

No clue but a few minutes. Longest is the exit and loading of game...I could not get mine to work and gave up. Seems like 5minutes per car after all said is done?
Have to take some steps though to insure it stays 0/0/0. Maybe someone will post up as I am not 100% certain on this borrow app.
