I think its time PD removed the credits from roulette. We have races now where credits aren't really an issue anymore so having them in the tickets is pretty pointless, especially when they're designed to land on the mere pittance 95% of the time. I think after having played it since it came out I should a few engine swaps but it feels very harsh locking them away. I like the fact they're rare, but they shouldn't feel impossible. Remove the credit prizes and just let us win the stuff we can't buy, surely isn't too difficult.

Maybe a petition to remove tuning parts and engines from the roulette and putting them in the tuning shop might be a better voting pole to hold?
Seeing as there's no way to purchase them outside the tickets (which I doubt they'll change) that's why I'd remove the credits, we can win those from races and it would give us more chance of actually winning the stuff we can't buy

But this would lend to a scenario of having a ton of duplicate, lowest value, parts that we(currently) cannot sell or trade. I would rather keep winning the lowest value in credits.

it’s a very interesting idea but the rest of the prizes, the odds of winning them and how it is presented to the player need a complete rethink. I support the idea though for all amounts lower than 500k

PD could easily attach this to something like for example a collector level like if you get to collector level 50 it would unlock the high end tuning parts and engines, as the roulette system is rigged anyway with the prize already pre-determined before you open the ticket, so in reality not really a roulette.

Roulette has to be revisited by PD. Amount of credits is laughable and tuning parts as mentioned above should be in tuning shop.
But I highly doubt it will ever be revisited.
They "balanced" the economy system that way so you will drive more to get more credits. They (Sony, more than PD) are also trying to push microtransactions.

Somewhere in Polyphony Digital Headquarters....

Designer - So this roulette thing, its going to show them lots of prizes every day but always give them the worst one.

Doctor Evil - Yes, ingenious isn't it?

Designer - But, won't that just make all our users hate us?

Doctor Evil - Yes, but only momentarily.... it will just bring a little moment of sadness into the daily lives of thousands of racers all across the globe.... truly evil.

Designer - But.... but... aren't we here to make something fun and enjoyable?

Doctor evil - [reaches across and pulls leaver so that designer's chair tips him backwards into a firepit].

Doctor evil - Now, do any of the rest of you have any questions about roulette?

I prefre the low credits to parts, cars I already own and invite tickets I don't want. Now if they allow you to sell parts and or cars then sure get rid of the credits

I've gotten 1M, 500K, 100K and several cars, some over 1M. Had a three star today where 100k bar was the lowest prize. Better than nothing.

we would need more credits if those engines and special parts were available in tuning shop at hefty prices...

A petition... 🙄 Why not start a petition to remove the Daily Roulette completely, so as to eliminate the cause of what people always complaining about? Problem solved.

Remove the car parts and put the unique ones in a store - maybe mileage points could return for those. Keep the engine swaps but allow people to also use up a car to swap the engine from. Then they just need to up the prizes, if they multiply some of the lower ones by 10 then we could have like 25K, 50K, 100K, 250K, 500K, 1M, 5M or something of that nature as the cash prizes. If the prize is good enough to buy some tuning parts or tyres I feel like that's worth having as part of doing the daily workout. I'd also like to see the login bonus return as part of completing the daily workouts, but that's another story.

No, because I feel the new "bad repeating reward" would become the boring cars and the basic tuning parts for very specific cars that not many people drive anyway. At least now we occasionally get a nice cash reward even if we're not getting any good "parts".

this wouldn't have been an issue in the first place if PD didn't use a "star rating" system & a waste of time roulette spin when the prize is already predetermined, just give me the prize when I open the ticket...simple!.... forget the stars altogether, just give me my 5k I've been getting everyday for the past couple days & continue with the game 🤷🏽‍♂️

sidenote: does the type of races you do to get the "daily workout" determine the ticket you get ?

would doing the daily workout in sport mode guarantee me a higher star ticket than doing a race or a championship?

I'd been wondering the same thing. The last 2 days I've started with 2 race b's which just gets enough to hit the mileage. Both days 4 star tickets winning 500k and an Audi gr3. I'll do it again today and see if it's the same.

I got a 5 star ticket today by doing the only offline-mode race at SSRX and the European 500 at Deep Forest. I've gotten 2 star tickets from doing the 550k Tokyo Expressway WTC 600. I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a difference what races you do.

I've gotten a range from 1 to 6 stars doing similar stuff offline. It did make me wonder getting 2 4 stars in a row off Sport mode though. Probably just coincidence, but I'll start with 2 race b's again today anyway to see what happens.

Great idea, let's remove credits and add cars and parts I already own.

Some of the lower tickets have such a horrible selection that I'd rather win the coins.
