You guys are missing the point. Every VGT is a different puzzle. You need to find out how to crack the code. I like the car, but it's just the wrong event and track for it.
The looks are fine, but nothing special. The back of a Lamborghini and a general VGT front.

I liked it. Bit of understeer on the brakes and round the horseshoe but quite tail happy at times:

It feels quite planted on the road (AWD?) making it hard to spin out but the understeer and weak brakes kill it in my opinion. I'm not a fan of its looks or sound either. Pity, because I really like the 908 and 905 Peugeots.

the topspeed should probably be higher as well 350 isn't enough

did a stop speed run at Route X after changing oil (900+ BHP) and fitting a racing trans and could only get 274mph out of it. Even got my eldest to get in my Nismo GTR which can do 320mph and could only get 295 out of the Peugeot, fast at accelerating but very sluggish once its got going.

This car is hard to handle with a handheld Sixaxis controller. Bad bad brakes and a tonne of understeer (actually 99,9% of GT6 cars suffer from horrible understeer I think, this one`s a little worse than the rest).
So far I`ve only managed a silver trophy. Wheeldrivers have the advantage here. So what? Will get back to track for gold - later.

I kind of like this car. I think it handles okay. I need to get some more time in with as I only drove it a few laps. I do like that it can be tuned so hopefully I get it to where it really suits my driving style.

I like the car. It sticks to the road really well and the sound is ok. I did some race on the nurburgring (the one with 2 laps?) that I dreadfully failed all the time, did it with no effort with this car. I was first within the first 1/4 lap of the first lap. Works well in like the wind against other cars with more PP.

This was fairly tough, especially with the understeer. Had a horrible first lap, my second lap just missed gold time by a tenth of a second. Then on my third clean lap, I managed to get lucky on my turn entries and wound up beating a lot of other people I consider to be great drivers. I made it to the top of my group of friends beating @sparkytooth by nine thousandths of a second.

I find the car interesting to drive. Obviously the understeer sucks, but if you can pitch it at the right angle, the 4WD can really catapult it where it needs to be.

I like it, personally. Understeer's not too bad. Good downforce. Brakes are fine. Of course it's not going to stop on a dime going 350. Sheesh.

Didn't check, but hoping this one's customizable. Too many VGTs are uncustomizable.

I don't mind this car at all. At least Peugeuot tried something slightly out of the ordinary, and I much prefer this type of VGT to the conservative entries of BMW and VW.

That said, when I first saw the car my initial thought was: "Oh, look! Another car that looks exactly like the rest. Great." Excepting the Alpine and Chapparal/Chevrolet entries, the wheels and front of most of the other VGT cars are almost interchangeable. Even the raised section under the passenger and driver doors has been repeated too often.

Take a look through the sketches sometime and try to find a car designer who didn't think that vortex-like-wheels-that-flare-out-to-almost-become-part-of-the-car-body were the best thing since sliced bread.

The LM55 is probably the most realistic of them
The Infiniti probably handles most like a real car
And the Chappy is the one that PD will like the most, its good exposure.
So where does that leave the Peugeot?
It isn't that bad. Firstly, its actually not FF. Secondly, it does accelerate like nothing this side of Asphalt (some of the acceleration in Asphalt is 1.7 seconds). Its problems are lifelessness, ugliness, and those awful brakes...
Overall a 5/10, its ok but I would prefer the 208 PP.

The Race Hard tyres look very --- interesting --- on the tread area of the Peugeot VGT - Ribbed "Y" shaped patches.

I like it. Not very memorable, but still crazy and very fast.

I find it hard to form an opinion after reading/watching the whole Tomahawk insanity... those guys just ruined the whole thing for everyone else and made me realize that most* manufacturers didn't look at the whole VGT idea the best possible way, the SRT way.

All VGTs are still cool imo, i love the Nissan in matte black, the BMW and the VW Supersport, use them constantly.

*Red Bull, Chaparral, Mazda, Alpine also did great in the crazy area.

The Peugeot VGT is a perfect match for this track. I'm not good at it, but power steering through the corners is great. It's very fast and surprisingly doesn't have a hybrid system. I would just like to know what the deal is with the side windows, or lack of them.

What are you trying to say? That you don't paint your side windows to match the body color of your car in real life? n00b. ;) All kidding aside...how was that approved? I'd like to know if this was intentional or what it a mistake?

Silly me. :dunce:

judging by this, it was very much intentional.

I can't stand these city tracks. I can barely make out what is up ahead, so I have to try and memorize objects on the side of the track. It probably took me 15 attempts to get gold. It went: 12 crashes, Silver awarded, crash, Gold awarded.
I'm about two tenths from gold and as usual I can't keep up with your ghost-line. And I'm using TC1, AT, and the suggested line, too!

But, yeah, I keep hitting the walls, too. Especially in the last sector. I also can't consistently find the ideal braking point on the first turn, oddly enough. Every time I think I've got it, my own line (or ALB's :) ) goes shooting past me and I'm 2-5 tenths slower than my best time.
Another god awful looking "car".
It looks like a typical, awful concept car to me. Something I guess only car designers can appreciate. Why they like this squashed look, I have no idea. I get that they don't have to worry about practical things like "visibility," but aesthetically, I really don't see it as an improvement.

I honestly can't say I hate the way it drives, though. I'll always take a bit too much understeer to too much oversteer. I know how the handle the former a lot better than the latter.
Boy...I'm so glad we get these Vision GT cars instead of...oh, I don't know...maybe the La Ferrari, McLaren P1, Lamborghini Huracan, Corvette Z06, Lamborghini Aventador SV. Heck, they could easily just put a little body kit on the current Aventador and type a couple different numbers into the car database for specs and voila! We have an Aventador SV. :banghead:
I think the development of these Vision GT cars is paid for by the manufacturers as a form of advertising. Or maybe the manufacturers have to do the development legwork (e.g., modeling it for PD). I dunno. I mean, the "it's an advertisement" rationale technically applies to any current car.

But, yeah, I'd much rather have the cars you mentioned added to the game than all these Vision GT ones, if given the choice. Except the Chapparal. That weird thing is kinda cool. And the Subaru—I like the way that one drives.

After a few days not driving (or playing it is) I managed to gold that time yesterday. Best result was humble 1.29.38x. That will be OK for now, with controller and manual gears.

The car is a little sterile I think. No feel to it, and lousy brakes. But it does glue to the track, so I do not hate it at all.
It looks alright, like the other VGTs. (Cars mostly look alike)

I think I like it a little bit.

Did You people notice that this Peugeot has it`s handbrake on the front wheels?

I thought the brakes were lacking too. Getting bored with the usual cars, I decided to take a few VGTs out. After trying this car at 630pp against A-spec supercars and at 650pp against GT500 cars (just changed engine percentage and removed camber), the brakes don't seem too bad at all. Actually, this car seems to out-brake all the super/hypercars and the GT500s in my admittedly very basic testing.

I just attempted a 360 at the finish line and realised something was up. This explains it.

Why is there no sound on downshifts? Is the car so fast it breaks the sound barrier? The downshift sounds are silly... as are most of GT's sounds. Anyways...

Great combo on one of the best tracks. It is kinda like turning a boat in a pencil case

It took me a Long time to understand this car (I love the Sound most) to achieve this time: 1.27,547
I guess this is my personal Limit... or is it?
:D
Here it is:
