Welcome to Photomode Cover Design Competition Week 18
This competition will be testing cover design, photoshop abilities and photomode abilities of residents of the planet.

Rules
Only Imageshack thumbnails will be considered for entry.
Use your own pictures.
Maximum 2 entries per person, per week.
Mark FINAL ENTRY in red on your final entry.
Stick with the theme.
The picking will go by a poll
Failure to abide by the rules results in DQ.

Theme
This weeks theme will be Mimic of Real Car Magazine

Further Explanation:
Pick out a magazine like Road & Track, Hot Rod, Car & Driver, or others, and using GT4 photos to create a magazine cover that looks like the magazine you have picked. Images and headers do not have to be identical, but title has to be close to the real one. No making up of your own magazine. No restriction on cars/locations choice.

If you have some ideas, please supply us a few (or a list, if you'd like). We're open to suggestions.

Maybe if no one is interested in the theme we can change it to an open theme. just to get people interested again

I have an idea.💡 This would kind of be like the very first weeks of this competition, but pick out a magazine like Road & Track, Hot Rod, or Car & Driver, or something like that, and see who can make the best cover for one of those particular magazines. No making up of your own magazine, but pick an existing car magazine publication to look off of. Maybe even copy one if you want. But no themes, just use whatever car you want. Just a thought. Because those were the days we had a lot of entries every week. I know I have not entered in a long long time, but I am pressured for time. But I might if it were something like I have mentioned.

Its not that the themes are crap, there good if your a PROFESSIONAL, but alot of us ain't and we want a easier more simple theme so we can really have a crack at it.

Being limited to much is what really disinterests me, I want a bit of choice on what I can attempt to do. Thats why in the first 8 or so weeks with the easier themes I had a real go at it. I even came second 3 weeks in a row I think. But as soon as people started making the more restrictive themes I lost interest.

But I do believe we cannot keep going on with the same themes such as All Toyota every few weeks. So we need to brainstorm a bit and try think of a theme that will be simple and open enough to attract the not so professional people.

I would say yes, any car magazine you can come across. You could even do a Summit or Paddock or Year one, or anything else! But don't make up your own.

Suz, great cover! I like the fact that you had the mailing address covering up the little blurbs at the bottom just like in real life. I hate how they do that The picture could be a little brighter though...looks kind of dull.

First time in this comp, ill post my SCC cover as soon as i figure out how to soften the edges around the SCC logo....stupid ps 7...

Click Here for a clean logo for SCC.. when it asks what program, open in photoshop .. when photoshop opens it, it'll ask what resolution, do 300dpi, or it will be really small..
