Welcome to Photomode Magazine Cover Competition Week 11
This competition will be testing cover design, photoshop abilities and photomode abilities of residents of the planet.

Rules
Only Imageshack thumbnails will be considered for entry.
Use your own pictures.
One entry per person, per week.
Mark FINAL ENTRY in red on your final entry.
Stick with the theme.
Cite all sources you get your magazine logos from (not on the magazine, but in the post)
The picking will go like the Photomode Competition goes by a poll
Failure to abide by the rules results in DQ.

Theme
This weeks theme, as picked by Easy$$, will be Car Event Program Cover
Further Explanation: Could be any car event: D1GP, HINights, Auto Show, JGTC, SCCA event, ETC...

somewhat similar to photomode/photoshop one I think
however stickiness will be the mod choice

To make the competition more fun to play with, we increase the limit of entries to 2 entries per person. That means we can submit maximum 2 magazine covers each week. This is a proposal, So what do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

Only source I used was driftaltanta.com for the Formula D logo which I changed the background to black on it. I don't have photoshop so I just used the regual paint program. I think it turned out pretty good for what I was working with. Any comments and feedback is always welcome. Oh yeah, does anyone know where I can get a version of photoshop for free. I saw it on downloads.com but they only give you a free trial then after that it was like $400 or $500 and can't afford that.

My second effort...my first was the crappy Scion in the concept mag...I'm pretty new to photoshop, so I'm mainly doing these to improve my skills...maybe one day I will compete.

how come everyone making event poster?

it seems there is no specific mod in GT4 forum except the drift section
maybe I am wrong ... but you can try punkrock

Event poster/cover....I wont discriminate. As long as its for an event...its all good.

mrplo ... to be honest, you didn't put much effort on yours
idea is good ... but you can add more stuff to the cover/poster
like logos (fuji speedway logo and sponsor logos), detail event info
or even some race queens

Yeah, I know, but i'm not really an active participant in the Photoshop competitins becasue im not of a photoeditor :idiff:

New sponsor logos were created where needed. The VIP exotic is the Tommy Kaira sports car. The bikini babes are from an actual HIN event flyer. Background street photos are from various internet resources. The white S2000 is the Amuse Sports Tuner. The Skyline is a "stock" car with a "custom" paint scheme. The Z-car is obviously the Option Stream.

edit: Final Entry I used an existing event.. but i made a brochure.. like what they'd give out at the event.. here ya go:



edit: easy$; the only thing i dont like about yours is the lenseflare.. but definitely a top contender there.
