Im suprised no one has mentioned this yet. The picture looks awesome except for one thing....the tires are waaaayy to skinny for a race car, it just looks wrong, and should be an easy fix too :D
You are correct. But it is not a full race car, more of a tuner, but the tires are a bit thin either way. I will fix that later this week when I am at the PC that the file is on.

nope, it's verry easy.... needs a little time thats all :) search on google on mini-me tutorial and you'll find it, i had it out of a magazine.... to hard to translate sorry... maybe franz can tell you? :)

Its not hard to make mini car
in GT4, you need to take 2 photos with the same background
one with the car, and one without the car
in photoshop, copy both wheels and their surroundings to new layer
then shrink the original layer
then place the wheels to appropiate area and remove their "useless" surroundings
the mini car is almost done, now you select the car and copy over to the 2nd photo (no car photo)
and you are done

not all the cars are mini-car-friendly
like my cobra, I had fix the exhaust and background thru the windshield
but it is easy overall
try to use side shot, it is easier

:D

Hey s2000lover any chance of some tutorials or something so we can all learn to be as good as you?
The easiest way to get good at Photoshop is spend time in the program. I have spent 1000's of hours in Photoshop to get to the point that I am today. Instead of playing a PC game or the like, I open up PS and just start playing with stuff ... see how it works and how I could use it. Practice, practice practice.

Also, there is a good set of books out that are useful. The Photoshop WOW books by Peachpit Press.

For Photoshop CS
For Photoshop 7

They can be quite useful for step-by-step tuts. They are a bit spendy (like $34.00 US) but are worth it if you are a visual learner.

hey Vicious, is there a PS book better than wow?
I have PS4 Wow ... it was only $36CAD at Costco (long time ago)
quite a decent one at that time ...
now I am looking for a newer one that more involving advance technique

hmm, i aint that good at ps if i have to say so myself, im pretty ****, ive learnt most of my stuff from doing tutorials on the net.

Not that I have really found. I need the same thing. Like a "Photoshop for Experts" book. Really advanced stuff for folks that know the tools and how to use them but may want to develop some new techniques.

That was kind of my reasoning for creating the Mag covers (Pixel Genesis - The Best resource For Photoshop Experts) that I show on my site. A hopeful dream that something like it actually existed. :indiff:

Most of the mags I look at, I can find maybe 1 or 2 things in there that I did not know, and the rest is already committed to memory. :grumpy:

Thanks for the site, I have Photoshop CS2 so I wonder if the photoshop CS WOW book will probably do. Not sure, anyhow I might go have a look in my local library.

I don't think Library has anything newer than CS
I checked my local library few weeks ago ... none are good enough
internet is a good source of finding techniques but those are very ordinary
its not easy to find some that really unique

I thought that CS2 gave you the option to pick the shortcut keys that you wanted, but they were the same if you did not modify or re-map them?

I have CS but it has this weird error thing where every now and again I open the Blending Options about 100 IE help screens open, then I go back into CS and it does it again. Other than that I have PS7 as well.

I call it, Escorting the German President of Mercedes, I know it's not great but im not that good. This is meant as an idea for people. Please Comment
