great job freddy! look like they are having a tuner party or something
nice job on the CF hood ... keep them coming!

Alright these are my latest (muscle oriented) multiple car pics .. enjoy ~

After my post inhere i checked the whole thread. This looked insane to me and very original. Congrats Franz, they rock. One advice man, you seem to developped great ps skills:

The 3 pic. Left car his foglights are jagged. That's quiet easy to fix i believe. Give it a go man and that pic would rock and roll my senses. Actually it does it already. :) 👍

Second one reminds me of Harry Potter. lol

Here are my two other ones that weren't finished until now.

nice work speed
Yeah I can fix the fog light
when I worked on that photo, I was too lazy to fix graphic glitches
for now I just leave it like that

tx, yeah i know what you mean. Look at my last update here, at the roof of the red silvia. It's all jagged up. For now, i leave it like that.:P

It's like i'm satisfied enough for now with that pic. Hehe.

very clean ... good job
let me give you some suggestion
try to turn up the brightness and contrast
(post 300)
Hi Franz, I'm surprised that for someone who'se obviously good 👍 at making great pics that you are suggesting to use brightness/contrast.
You know there are much better solutions, and I'm sure you've been using better methods too.
You'll agree with me that using levels is by far the better option

(see end result pic)
If anyone is using a halfdecent image package it should include this option.

... and No the above link was not meant as an advertisement for myself.:scared:

I use B&C + color filter everytime in the past
now I use curve and level
for fixing the colour tone, I use gradient mapping + photo filter

How can I post the video and/or pic if i don't know how to transfer it to the PC.

Check out this thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=52835

Wrt pics, take the picture when PS2 asks you to save/store the pic you'll need e.g. a USB storage device (CF card memory stick etc etc). It will store that pic a a jpg. Then transfer to PC.

USB storage devices plug in to your PS2, either direct or via usb-cable.

Wrt Videos try thread mentioned above.

Well, in theory you can get the exact same results with levels and contrast/brightness, but the levels just give you more options. If I'm just doing a quick mock up type job I just adjust the brightness/contrast becuase I can get the results I want quite quickly, whereas once I get into level I just keep fiddling for way too much time.

Also, if you're have a hard time finding the camera angle as a previous shot, you can always just do like what I did on my pic (crx in the back of the truck post #328). Just erase all the surrounding area of the car. Now, mine looks like crap because I only spent 3 minutes versus the 30 I would if I was getting paid to do it. So it COULD look alot better. Just make sure to zoom in plenty and use a combination of pencil erasers and brush erasers. And then if you need to clone stamp across layers to help blend the edges. If there's still some minor imperfections you can't seem to fix you can try to blurr it just a tad, too much it abvious.

Here is my lovely supra. Nothing compared to all your guyses sexy lookin things but the only thing i do in photoshop is chop blueprints so this editing is new to me. Ill try to get something more advanced up later.

I don't have photoshop and have entered two competitions where photoshop is excluded (hosted be Slick6). I have figured a way to get multiple cars w/o outside-of-the-game-editing and someone always says "no photoshop pics allowed" or the like.

This was my first attempt

My 2nd (latest) attempt, I put a mention pic in hopes of convincing that its not photoshop, but same reaction happened

@ dropzone, I only noticed a moderator say, photoshop not allowed. I dont think anyone mentioned you're disqualified. I suggest a PM to the judge and or organiser to discuss with him how you did it and take it from there...

(oh and reveal your secret to me too :) , nah just kidding but you have made me curious)

NO PHOTOSHOP, MULTIPLE CARS, HOW?
-BY: DROPZONE - The Originator of this Method

I didn't like the fact that I may have to change my entries in the competitions, so here is where I finally reveal how I did my pics. This method does take time (I imagine maybe more than the Photoshop way) as you have to manipulate cars and may not be able to be done at some/many parts of tracks. Since I have no Photoshop, what can I do to get multiple cars in the pics, besides an action shot during a race? As I downloaded the GT4 Gameshark codes, there was a few codes listed for Idiot AI. I think many might have overlooked this code for racing, as well as Photomode users clueless, as the AI in the game is already a pain in the *** at times. Well the code makes the AI totally USELESS, it's as if their cars are in neutral. So with the codes activated, go into a race and start the race. DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS at the countdown of the start or rolling start. I can not guarantee that your car will not act dumb in the replay and ruin your effort but the no buttons tip REDUCES the risk. When the race starts just bash the other cars into position and when you are satisfied leave the race and save the replay. Go into replay theater and load your replay and take your pics.

Haha ... Action replay ... that's another way to cheat 👍
the code you use is more interesting than go fast code

Sweet Jesus franz ! Your work in this thread is just amazing. I can't believe how much time and effort you have put into these,... and the results are always worth it by far 👍 👍 Awesome work

Does anyone take requests here?

If so, I'd like a maroon metallic Triumph Spitfire, a Super Gold Aston Martin DB9 & a
(if editable) Gold DMC Delorean S2, cos' I wasn't born to do it. I swear.

BTW, I'm new.

Franz,
Sure is nice to see this thread is still alive. A lot of good memories and many hours spent making pics for this thread. Franz is the man!! Keep up the great work everyone. :dopey:
