Anyone got any good Photoshop guides, for doing this type of work in Photoshop 7 on real life car photos and cars from in video games.

@TVR, If you like, there are lots of tutorials on how to do various things to cars in P/S at www.photoshopchop.com.

@lthiele, i think ur confused in saying good job to me because i havent posted an actual chop in this thread in a good 2-3 months. Im more of a competition chopper myself, but thank you anyway!

I've been looking at that site & the tutorials look usefull but they wont load :(

If you want it, do it illegally... Use limewire and download it!

👎

and why would i do that?

it's a really good idea to talk about that on gtp:dunce:

i do use limewire, but not for a STUPID idea like that:tdown:

i wish there was a free version:indiff:

You will not post false information, limewire only gives you the download, that's it

Ithiele, you can always download a trial version, that'd keep you sweeted up for 31 days 👍

... adobe's page has a download [30 day trial] and if u want to eventually buy the key.. or borrow one from a buddy for student use :sly: that would be perfectly legal.

our school has CS2, but i've never used it, i don't think that would be perfectly legal

i found a demo of 6.0, and i couldn't install it, i assume the problem was that it was only for 98 and ME, i found a 30 day trial of CS2, but it was 329MB, too long to download with my slow connection:indiff:

*goes back searching for a trial version*

I don't think using the school key is illegal. Its meant to be installed on few hundred computers.

Don't flame me, I'm not an expert on legal issues.

if that's true, i could put CS2 on to my USB drive from school and bring it home, but i won't do it yet, i don't think the school will let me:dopey:

maybe i can find a trial on Limewire so i cam resume downloading the next day:), and i'll keep the setup so i don't have to re-download it when my trial's up

You really won't find anything on there apart from the illegal version. D/l from adobe and wait a day.

Even if school do give you a copy, you need them to give you the serial number. If you don't get that, it's a glorified trial version.

Well actually, the serial number isn't everything you need.

This is how it's being done in my class:

Since you haven't got the complete Adobe box with it, you can still install the full version but even if you deliver a serial number, PS will detect it and you won't be able to register it. (Registering it gives you full acces to the program and if you don't register it, you won't be able to use after 31 days)

So what do these guys do?

They have a so called "KeyGen", I assume it's from "Keygenerator".

You can guess what it does...

But yeah, like Jon said, www.adobe.com is the best place for a download 👍

Just a quick suv-crossover chop. I've seen something like it before, so I thought I'd give it a go. Pretty rough around the edges, but I think it came out rather well.

Here is a question, how do you lower cars in photoshop?
Select the Polygon lasso tool (right click on the lasso tool) then select the whole top of the image until you get to the bottom of the body, keep the cut going around the bottom of the body (not the wheels) copy it, paste it, select the move tool, move the new layer until you've lowered it enough, then crop it to get rid of the top bit that's left over from the original image.
