Select the Polygon lasso tool (right click on the lasso tool) then select the whole top of the image until you get to the bottom of the body, keep the cut going around the bottom of the body (not the wheels) copy it, paste it, select the move tool, move the new layer until you've lowered it enough, then crop it to get rid of the top bit that's left over from the original image.

I can never hope to achive that.

Anyway, the Mondeo Wagon from TVRKing is good IMO. I like the "raising-an-eyebrow" hood :sly:

First sedan to coupe conversion. Not perfect, but I'm happy.

My first shot at CF hood. Not so great.
I'm no photoshop guru, but I think the problem is the way you've shaded it. Normally I put copy the hood, make it black and white, then add the carbon fibre with transparency, so the shading of the hood shows through, but doesn't make it a different color.

MINICOOPER - yes, that's why. I couldn't figure out how to select only the hood. Now I know :)

Another sedan to coupe modification. Also added a rear spoiler which does not fit in perfectly, but I'm content with it.

I added a bunch of filters and lighting effects for this one. Yea, I know, the headlight flare filter is really lame nowadays, but I couldn't resist putting it on.

...

OK, I've been critiqueing your work for a while now, but now I know how hard it is to photoshop that well. Maybe I oughtta shut up and admire the work.

Yeah! Shut up and admire my work! It's hard to do this in MSPaint!

I hate you people with photoshop...
