See this is what I'm talking about, look at how the Charger weights 3 times more than the Elise. My point exactly.

We have different opinions but that doesn't mean we should argue.

The reason 200hp is nothing for me is because the cars that are in my sights aren't anywhere close to being lightweight.

200hp for a 1966 barracuda is like a lawnmower engine for a honda civic, oh wait, thats what civics use :lol: (Im jk)

PS-- the Caliber SRT-4 will be the most powerful FF vehicle on the road soon, with 280hp to the wheels. Knowing Mopar -- it'll get even faster; only reason it wasn't 300hp is the torque steer issue.. and that has been electronically controlled.. and fixed basically.

I want to make mah peon to hit like 400hp though; so it will still be a streetable RWD vehicle. I will probably convert to auto though; as much as i like driving stick.. i think stop & go traffic will not be fun with that kind of power.. lol But it will look like my avatar when i'm done with the custom front clip. :D

uhhh.. if i wanted only 200 hp; i'd go with the SRT motor. 2.4L turbo i4. I want a twin turbo v6 -- probably going to be the Syclone/Typhoon style from the 90s -- 4.3L v6.. If i went v8; i'd have to mod the hood so i could fit the carb there. Sooo.. i'll stick with the smaller v6 & still have a beast... if you want to know what a neon looks like with a v8.. CLICK HERE

I wouldn't call it whoring, it was more or less just off topic arguing.

As for the van, its a bit so so for me. The rims don't quite go along with the lowering that you did. Good job on it anyway 👍
 
Here is our old Toyota Camry. Recently me and my brother stripped it down, sanded it, filled in dents and door mouldings with lightweight body filler, and primed the trunk, pillars, and roof so far. This is how we want it to turn out.

well back to the topic of powerful FF cars, have we forgotten about the impala SS? 303 HP and 323 ft lbs to the front wheels. So it seems that the statement that the caliber srt-4 will be the most powerfull FF on the road is a tad inaccurate.
 
That's why I like my Golf.
240bhp, ff, but because of it's weight it will leave a lot
of more powerful cars behind.

Power to Weight Ratio! = Light car, Awesome performance!

That thing they call an impala is anything but :yuck:. Front wheel drive on an impala :grumpy:, what were they thinking :banghead:

IMO any car that size should be rear wheel drive.
My cars are both ff, but then with the exception of BMW
and one or two other manufacturers, a very large majority of cars
in the UK are front wheel drive.
Given enough money and a choice I would opt for a larger rwd US car anyday.

We weren't arguing -- we were having a discussion about what i should or shouldnt do to my neon.. :dopey: not arguing; along with stating opinions about imports/domestics in general.

Because it takes more work/talent than just cutting and pasting different rims on different cars, and it is a lot more fun to create. That's what.... :crazy:
