I thought it was Austrilia when he flew off the track and killed the corner worker??? last year or before that, I could be wrong?!?

No - there's no grandstands at that angle in the Villenueve accident at Albert Park - plus that accident was on the first lap of the GP, so any nearby grandstands would have been full (I lived just across the road from that GP track, so I know it pretty well!).

It's Zonta's 190mph accident in testing at Silverstone. The Grandstand you see is part of the Stowe complex. Zonta lost brakes at the end of the 200mph (in Hockenheim-spec) Hangar straight, and went straight on. The gravel 'trap' launched him into the air and over the barriers.

Good lord that's a big one - reminds me of Pedro Lamy in '94.

There was a great quote from one of the Lotus guys after the crash - it was along the lines of 'the biggest piece of the car left was Pedro'.
