Man jz that's awsum. Hmm, wonder if u could wire up the less to a false tacho for something different? Nice work. How do u go about making somethin like this?

People have done that. The gauges won't work on the PS3. Only PC.

Correct, they have. I used to play my share of PC Games..

wow actually jelly

Haha lol, I had a DA9 Integra at one stage. Only because i wanted to do a full Restoration of it, and go USDM Spec on it with a B18C Turbo. I eventually got bored of the car before i even finished it like most of my other cars, and parted it out. As resale value on DA9's aren't so good in Australia. Anyway, i decided i'd make a Cockpit out of it and so i stripped the Interior and cut it in half quite literally. The misses isn't so happy with it, as it is an Eye-Sore in the Games room and "Wrecks the Interior Design flow of the whole house" I'll be getting rid of it this coming December, as i need to get a Hold of my life again. To much devotion to teamJDMT lol

haha know that feeling. i gotta get started on my cars. just moved 4 hours away from my projects and havent had the money or days off to get them up to where i am yet. anyway, how is that beautiful piece of artwork an eyesore?

To my misses.... Because it is just a Dash Board in the middle of the room lol

What, did she stop to quick and hit her head on the dash? Couldn't resist . Just messing.

But yeah, hints the reason I have mine in the basement.

How much will it cost to send it over to new Zealand and how much you want if your going to sell it?,Wait.....If the parents let me get it.

If i were to sell it, it'd be the Dash only, because it's way too big the whole setup. The dash would roughly be $200, that excludes Stereo, Base, A/C, Seat. Just the Dash. For Shipping, i have no idea. Probably be another $500 for shipping but that's just my guess.

No way I am going to buy it,I want the whole lot. 👍 That price range is my life. Maybe my death? Haha man try sell it, the whole lot excluding wheel pedals ect, Make some mad $$ More pictures please, I like the look of it.

Simple but it got the job done

350mm Deep Dish wheel has moved it's way into my FC3S, back to stock G27 wheel rim. But like your tool box, your rig should be sticker bombed... :)

Did you make that from scratch? I like how "out of the way" it is.

If you're speaking to me, then yes and no. I copied an existing companies design as I was using a DFGT at the time and it seemed to fit the bill well. They also had some rough dimensions on their website I used as reference. This led to spending about $50 on mild steel sheet, square tubing, thumb screws, paint, etc. Took about 2 hours of my time as opposed to buying their frame only at triple the price plus another $40-50 in shipping cost.

The current center post that supports the wheel doesn't bother me at all since my feet are quite far from the post. My next revision, I'll be chopping off the center post section and making the whole wheel/pedal/shifter mounts from aluminum extrusion tubing (80/20). Probably add a hand brake as well when I can dig one out of a parts pile...

Not sure what you mean by "out of the way" though...

I meant it isn't as bulky as a pvc or wood setup.

So it's screwed together? I may give that a shot, worse case i'll buy a used arc welder.

Mad props for going all brian rogers on ur next cockpit.

My put away setup
I live in a 1-room appartment with out much Space so my criteria was it should be easy to put a side and I could store the Wheel stand in a closet (when I get one). That way I´m saving some Space, and most important it wont look like a rig-/living-/bed room. I´m gonna do some changes to it, im planning on getting a Deep Dish Wheel on a DSD adaptor, get the TH8RS Shifter and make a DIY Real car E-Brake. Made a quick job in paint on how i will Mount it. Also i´m thinking about flipping the pedals to GT-style like this guy did! But not being able to get a big heavy rig (in this appartment) I came up with this for now.

It's welded with 3/4" and 1" mild steel square tubing. There are thumb screws used to hold down the 3/4" tubing that slides inside the 1" tubing for wheel deck height and pedal distance adjustment.

BJ, thanks for cleaning up your mess first lol. Now I see why you can't sticker bomb. Lookin' good though... 👍

You have a conglomeration of stickers. Stone Brewery? Good beers.

And emblems. BMW E92 Hood emblem, S15 "Silvia" trunk emblem, R34 GTR trunk emblem, Tomei emblem. And yeah I think I asked you before if you like Stone, I've taken the brewery tour in San Diego. :)

My homie Vb, he was raging why it didn't work, then did, then didn't. Probably cause he's rollin' my Photobucket acct, lol. Works now and for sure legit setup...
