Technically a 1983 Caterham Seven can be an orignal Seven in all but name, Caterham didn't copy the seven design, they bought the car off Lotus and continued to produce it. The question is weather or not it's a Caterham Seven series 3 or series 4 or something else. The series 3 and 4 were both identical to the Lotus Seven's in all but name and badge, the other Caterhams had different engines.
