This suggests the Type-R badge really has added tyre-shredding horsepower to the Matiz,,, isn't that the second tyre failure you've had in six months, Danny?
Except some of us knew what car Danny has.

Well, your ears aren't bleeding, so it looks like you made it through the race with any earplugs. At the 2008 IndyCar race at Homestead Miami Speedway:

They've probably been to so many races, they couldn't hear a thing.Wet paper towels shaped into earplugs ftw though. I couldn't believe the people sitting there without any hearing protection. The tinnitus was incredible, but the paper towels fixed everything.

It is a big jump in sound though, when you go from hearing ALMS cars to these monsters.
LOL! Wait til' they hear Nascars. OH wait! They probably have, too.Yeah, I figured. But there were little kids there too. Probably the same people whose iPod headphones you can hear from across the hall.
I did see some small children with full earmuffs and stuff, but most of the people were inhumanly immune to the sound. Yay, deaf!
I'll admit I've had those same thoughts. And amazingly, why racing events? I mean, maybe I've never seen it, but other sports like football never seem to have such things.I also lol'd because the planes came early during the national anthem and drowned out/messed up the singer. However, it made me have an intellectual moment wherein I pondered the need for sending combat aircraft over sporting events after national anthems. Apparently the government doesn't mind demonstrating its heavy hand whenever possible. Made me realize how easy it is for a fighter jet to just fly over something and bomb it.
