Ours isn't. We ditched the tie 2 years ago at our school. Which is a very good thing as it was really itchy.

Yeah, they are a lot safer if someone wants to grab hold of it because instead of strangling you, they just come off. The Police Force use them I think.

At a boarding school yeah probably. My college however... I can wear whatever I like Not quite as classy as a blazer but not as stuck up either

When I said shy I meant it that I don't like to reveal stuff like my name, pictures of me, etc. online. I did it because some people wanted to see me and I decided to post it.

So yeah. In real life with my friends and people I know I am not shy but, online I am shy in that aspect. Does that clear stuff for you?

Oh well. I even deactivated my Facebook a few months ago. I just don't like that idea of people seeing pictures of you whenever you want. I didn't use Facebook anyways so it's not like I lose anything when I deactivated it.

I don't know much about PC's in the hardware area. Really basic stuff thanks to a friend of mine that showed me a bit.

I only know how to set dual monitors on a laptop because it has a handy dandy output for VGA's. Does that count?

Kinda. I did have a 17" CRT on the floor, hooked up to my laptop but I could only run it at 1024x768 which looked like crap.

That's what I have to wear too. Bloody nuisance when it's really hot, as the blazers are like wearing a coat. And what's with this 'clip on tie' stuff, I have to wear a real one.

Funnily enough I do a half-Windsor too. Though I usually forget how to do my tie after 8 weeks off, so on the first morning back I end up re-tying it about 5 times.

I'd prefer the full windsor as well, since it's symmetrical. But your tie needs to be long enough.

Until I reached my third year of uni (and subsequent interviews, and formal presentations) I had worn a tie exactly 6 times, and half of those were funerals.
