Kind of a sad evening tonight as it's quite likely that after the next few months none of the people above will see each other together for a long time as we're all going our separate ways.

I've spent a good last few years with these people and will miss them. We'll meet up on occasions in the future but as a group, all of us, it'll be unlikely.

It is. :D

It's local culture for men to roll up their shirt and get the gut out when eating the hotpot. So, when in Rome and all that.

I tried to convince my lady friend to partake but she was having none of it. :grumpy:
 
Oh when you said in the what are you eating thread you were eating hot pot I thought of the British casserole like dish. What you mean is the thing where you put the ingredients in a pot in the middle of the table right?
 
Yeah, big bowl of chili oil which is on a gas burner and then all the food is chucked in and cook by ourselves. Local specialty. Me loves it. Such a great communal meal. Not for the faint of stomach though.

It's really spicy and involves lots of innards like duck intestine, pig brain and cow stomach. Delicious. I just hate it when they put all those yukky vegetables in there.

I'll hunt, dispatch, butcher and cook wild game but wouldn't for the life of me consider eating any veg other than spuds.

I'm keeping it short from now on. Since I became properly in-tune with the Force it is unnecessary to keep the learner's 'fro. ;)
