I see. I've never seen the Kumars but used to watch Goodness gracious me alot about 6 years ago. I think some of the actors from the Kumars were in G.g.m.

I only know of Sanjeev.

Actually any of the three Top Gear hosts would be good. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and that other guy with the Quarter mile long Bently.

you know......i could always be james bond.

Many interesting take on the next James Bond. I vote for Clive Owen(BMW Films, King Arthur, Bourne Identity).

But what's even more important is this:
Famine
Get Sean Bean in there (pronounced, by those in the know, as "See-an, Bee-an"... "Shorn Been" my arse).
Is this true? :lol: I love Sean Bean, but according to Famine, I've been butchering his name all along! I need help on this, I don't trust Famine completely. :D

Sean Bean's a super actor but he's already been in Bond and was killed off so that would take some getting used to. Clive Owen would be a better choice but I'm not 100% sure on that either.

I don't care what language you speak, Sean is NEVER pronounced "See-an." That's as bad as Sade pronounced "Sha-day." It's retarded, not to mention incorrect.

That one came out of left-field.

Ignoring the fact it's an "in-joke" amongst those of us "in-the-know", tell me, why is "sean" pronounced differently to "bean", person who speaks a different language? Should it not be "shorn born", or "seen been"?

Further tell me. Do you KNOW Sean Bean?

Because I do.

Don't we have out wonderful english language to thank for that?

Bean = been
Sean = shawn

Replace one letter and the whole pronunciation goes up the ****. Seen Been?

Yep. The vagueries of English.

Although "Sean" is essentially an Irish name, but in Gaelic it has an accent on the e (would be a grave in French, no idea what the Irish equivalent is). Still, there is no reason why "sean" and "bean" ought to be pronounced differently.

All that aside, Clive Owen, it appears, is now confirmed as the new Bond.

I don't care if he's not James Bond anymore. He's gettin way too old to be him anyway. Pierce is still really good in other movies like After the Sunset.

Clive Owen isn't the next Bond anyway, it looked like it would be him but that guy from Layer Cake's got the part instead.

Not really. While I agree, younger Bond might bring more excitement to the Bond films, but role of Bond's always been played by middle aged actors.

I did some google search and you might be right. I'm still hoping not though. Daniel Craig would be an perfect choice as the next Bond villain, but not as James Bond, himself! :yuck:
